If you completely replace the mag tube with an aftermarket one made for the Benelli M4, it will fit perfectly. The +2 mag tube extension for the Benelli won’t work on the Panzer tube. Also, a semi-automatic tactical shotgun is generally not designed for target loads…save those for target (e.g. over/under) shotguns. I picked up a case of Nobelsport low-recoil 00 Buck and it runs great. (Price was nice too.)
Agree Low brass target/game rounds don't work well in tactical shotguns. Use military or police specific loads and you will see a remarkable increase in functionality.
Even the hunting shotguns with benelli’s inertia system can struggle with light loads. With that said mine has rarely given me issues even with a heavier spring. Edit: my mistake I was thinking of the M2 that has inertia.
@@michaelhill6451 Oh wow. Two shotguns. That proves it beyond all doubt. It's well known that many semi autos have issues with various loads, especially birdshot. Get educated.
@@michaelhill6451 The Mossberg 930 had well documented issues with birdshot for example. The point is irrelevant though as these are defensive shotguns, they are meant for full power buckshot or slugs. Complaining about them cycling birdshot is silly.
I bet if you read the manual you’ll see where Panzer states you need a certain FPS round to operate during break-in. My buddy had a Panzer and it has a minimum Velocity rating for the ammo you shoot while breaking in.
Hi, you make a great point so I looked at the manual and it does not give a min velocity. It does say to not to use low recoil/light trap loads - do not exceed 1600fps
With many ammo manufacturers using low brass in shotgun shell Manufacturing it has been held that that could cause feed issues...... I've been hearing from some of my viewers of my own RU-vid channel that purchased the Panzer arms and four clone that they have to take apart their shotgun and they discovered Birds and misalignments in the magtube as well as with inside the receiver where they had to polish it off and after doing so they had no problems with feeding. I've always held that if you get a new firearm whether it be a handgun rifle or shotgun you should always take it apart clean it inspect it and check for any imperfections and if you can correct it without having to take it to a gunsmith more power to you but remember with any firearm you should always inspect it before you take it out to the range
Every semi auto shotgun that I have shot has struggled with low brass shells. My vintage Breda Autoloader (based on the Browning A5) will not cycle two shells in a row, even with the friction ring turned around for lower power shells. I'd shoot it more often if I weren't so damn cheap.
There is a product called Vibra-Tite and it is the same type of product used on the Magpul M-lok screws. It is outstanding stuff and it keeps screws on firearms tightly in place without the risk of seizing that you get with loctite. Loctite is great but not on firearms, generally.
The shot size is irrelevant. #2 or #6 or #8 or 00 buck, makes no difference to the shotgun. What does make a difference is the total weight of the shot and the weight of the powder charge(The estimated fps on the package is very helpful). A ⅞ oz load #6 at an estimated 1200fps will not cycle in my semi-auto shotty but a 1oz load of #6 @ 1200fps will. That extra ⅛oz of shot plus the bit of extra powder to move the heavier load at the same 1200fps is what does the trick for it. Using the total shot weight and the estimated "feet per second" listed on the packaging is the easiest method for me to determine what to put on my semi-auto shelf and what to set aside for my Mossberg 590A1 pump.

@@counterfeit4450 not yet, but they are tough. You have to remove for disassembly. I ended up taking a piece of 550 paracord and making a loop over itself with the 2 ends. Put that around the charging handle and set the shotgun on a carpeted or soft floor and give it a good strong yank. It will come out. It actually gets easier the more you do it. Hope that helps.
@@Andy152R yeah I used a pair of pliers with a rag and basically just ripped it out. Getting the new one in was just as much of a bitch though…. Probably shouldn’t have, but I had to use a mallet to get it in. I don’t plan on removing it again though and it’s IN THERE in there lmao

Please remember that YOU are what makes your shotgun cycle.. if you are a bowl full of jello your weapon will struggle to cycle low brass.. be a wall and it will work with almost anything.
I had excellent performance with the fiocchi blue box 2.75 in. 1.25 oz 1330fps 8 shot rounds. Over 200 and counting, no loading or feeding issues so far.
I will 100% trust mine for HD as long as I run the ammo that I have tested in the gun before with no failures. so far mine only seen 150 rounds of high brass 1350-1600fps buckshots and some slugs and a few 1200fps birdshot to see if it would cycle and it did w no issues. high brass birdshot 1350 fps also cycles like a champ on mine. Again Id trust it with the ammo I know the gun works with...
I agree, I have a mag fed Radikal MKX 3 and after 250 rounds or so it'll take anything. BUT!!!! At first it would only cycle high brass rounds, so keep it wet with oil always have fun shooting the crap outta shit and it'll break in. As always clean your guns.......
Low brass low power. Its gas operated. The shotgun in my opinion is not the tool for light target loads. If your using # 8 loads 1 3/4 that would be great for indoors and Im sure it would run that round all day long
Ummm you must be new to shooting shotguns. The shot count has ZERO to do with cycling. You're shooting all low brass, I'm shocked you aren't aware of this.
I don't get.... how people make reviews, without knowing the equipment 🤷♂️ If you want to use weak azz bird shot... In a combat shotgun... You need to change the stock spring. Even the "real" m4 needs that done, to shoot light loads.... It's not the fault of the firearm... It's you 🤦♂️

They are veered nicer, just buy goods 00 buck like Federeal tactical high power and slugs. it shoots fine. win. sabots stay inside 6" at 25 yards and the Federal Tactical 00 buck with control flight wad shoot fine. if you can't afford really defensive ammo just get a double barrel. you have no clue about shotguns. that Panzer m4 has not fail me once! no FTF or FTE. just don't shoot ammo made dor bord hunting and you will be fine. also it needs to break in. oh, and hold that thing tight like you own it, not like you are scared of it.
