Level of detail is fantastic. Getting as good as any flight sim. It will be cool when you can get out and actually service engine or tracks and road wheels.
yes and do it real time using 30 minutes for it. And check everything before you start the engine taking also 30 minutes. You will be bored with a realistic game.
Panzer Elite war a superb tactical game with its positions, retreat points and assistance from other units. But the gameplay was a little clumsy (for my pc) and the infantry didn't look good but it was a milestone of tank combat. The mission briefings were great
It exists and it's called Il-2 Sturmovik: Tank Crew. That's the game in this footage, and it has multiplayer in tanks. I'd play it if I had friends willing to learn with me.
This will help me build my 1/35 Panzer IV model beyond the model kit. I will create the interior out of cutting popsickle sticks and custom shaping them into glued and painted crafted pieces that will look real.
I remember a joint US/West German training exercise. The Germans really liked the space inside the M60A1 (Rise Passive). The US troops liked the 360 degree commanders periscopes with magnification capability in the Leopard I.
One of the neatest tank videos I've ever seen. The Chieftain You Tube videos take us inside tanks but never in detail like this. It would be great to see videos like this of every famous tank, especially those of WW2.
40's,all the time, cost and effort for one of these to be made... just for all of it to be captured, destroyed or thrown away by the end of 1945. All for nothing, lost in time. Damn, these tanks are so cute why we did it to them
Imagine having war thunder mode where there are multiple players in one tank each playing as one of the crew members and they have to communicate to do everything smoothly
@@OddDuckling-vs2jo yeah, but the first person mode is nothing like this. Which is fine, but it would still be cool to have something this detailed in War Thunder
I remember i was driving one of those in the Ryazan in 1943. Was good times. We saw few Iosif Stalins in nearby village. So sonderkommando was on Halt.... We attacked KV at nighttime. Sturmbanfuhrer was shouting. After we meet in Zalcburg and drunk Weissebier.
I like the detail of the inside. Was the Panzer IV the Germans best tank? I am guessing that a T-34 snuck behind the Panzer, and took it out. Great video, thank you very much Frog 🐸
In world of tanks this tank is pretty good with the 105mm howitzer Good mobility, good gun, good gun depression, Only thing that isn't good is armor, but that doesn't really matter all too much
Driver: drives tank Gunner: aims and shoots gun Loader: loads gun Radio operator: Communication medium Commander: that one guy that keeps shouting during the entire trip XD
"YOYOYO YO ON THE LEFT LEFT LEFT AT THE BUSH *TANK DESTROYED* BRUHHHHH WJSBSKKWLWSIDUDU YOU FUCKING DUMBASS" "LOOK LOOK LOOK ENEMY TQNK ENMY TQNK SHOOT IT SHOOT IT! AIM AIM AIM AIM"
Is that x2 shell rounds behind the driver .. Fuck that I recall a friend of my dads was Reme in Normandy and one pz 4 they had to move still only had the drivers ..just his lower half still sat in his seat...
I wonder why the tank commander hasn't yelled at this guy for crawling inside and outside the tank while rest of the crew awaits? Then it got blown up at the end because of this guy.
@@JDuBz815 well there's actually multi crew in the game(although only the player that had spawned that one tank is able to drive it, the others occupy the other seats)
@@SahiPie Ausf. G didn't have a spaced armor, Ausf .G is the upgrade of Ausf. F2 , the Ausf. H is the upgrade version of Ausf. G. And the late war version is the Ausf. J
@@tardarsauce1842 Lol, month to respond? Anyways, side skirts were not exclusive to H. If you want a full write up, there is a top rated comment by someone that goes through many of the details.
I just gotta say: This is one very cool video. I don't do any gaming, but I used to watch a lot of The Mighty Jingles stuff, but In ever saw detail like this. Hey, I've got a question... Are the electrics connected to the turret with some special electrical junction box to something at the rim of the turret, or do you just have so many turns before you have to rewind, as it were. I can't believe I've never known about that. Thanks for any illumination on the subject!
So, assuming I understand your question correctly, the Panzer IV's turret power is a bit unique for the time. The turret is powered by an auxiliary engine, the DKW ZW 500 (used in the Panzer IV E - H). With that, every aspect of the turret could be used (including powered traverse) without the tanks main engine running. Most tanks can run basic electrics without the engine (as the battery could be manually connected and disconnected), though most other tanks required the engine to be running to power the traverse actuators.
@@Mach-2-Fishbed Very interesting... My original post had taken one thing for granted... that of centering all power connection to a "post" and rings under the center of the turret deck. I was thinking of turret electrics being powered from the tank's main power supply. But now I find myself wondering about these DKW ZW 500 auxiliary engines... Thanks for the informative message, I appreciate your time and obvious expertise!
@@cptpoell9113 As far as I know composite armour is only or mostly effective against HEAT Rounds. but if you face APFSDS with almost 500mm of pen apart from need a ton of composite armour at any case it will better if it is angled to have chance to bounce. sure you know it already. another history is with ERA armour
In some of the WoT chieftain hatch vids, there are builders plates near the driver position. Not sure why. As far as the game goes, it could be helpful to remind you if controls vary slightly from tank to tank.
Is this VR? =O (Mind totally blown by thinking about such a thing!) Can u actually tank the propper real life way in VR now? Has this been made? Just think of how amazing that would be!
@Chris Oly Hardly believe that they used lots of them considering the PTRS and PTRD became such an inherent threat the Germans used spaced armor as a counter.
I didn't look closely to verify the exact model of the PzKpfw IV, but I know that most, if not all, PzKpfw IV G tanks had schurzen, but did not have zimmerit. The schurtzen protecting the hull on the model G was usually the bolt-on type like the schurzen on the PzKmpfw III L & M, not the hanging type. Also, some late model H tanks did not have zimmerit.
