hi, i really like your videos but I have a question. How do you go into a kind of "spectator mode" in the story mode, because I have seen you using that in several of your bf1 and bfv videos.
@@iron_axe The one you used is actually from the modern German panzer army, the original (or first version) is a bit shorter and didn't have half of the lyrics :).
Very bizarre lyrics; I can't Imagine American, British, Canadian or Australian soldiers singing something like this. They didn't have these adolescent ideas about the war. Just put up with the officers and their b.s., get it over with and get home in one piece,
So you've never heard the U.S. Field Artillery March then? In the storm, in the night, Action left or action right See those Caissons go rolling along Limber front, limber rear, Prepare to mount your cannoneer And those Caissons go rolling along.
WW2 tanks didn't fire on the move because they didn't have stabilisers for their guns. (Shermans did have vertical stabilisers) Firing on the move made it impossible to hit a target. As for movement, WW2 medium tanks could average about 25mph off-road. They were more agile than you might imagine. In films, Shermans rarely move as fast as they actually could because they're portrayed by authentic tanks and they don't want to damage them while filming. The Tiger in Fury (the only operational model left) is sluggish for this reason when Tigers were actually surprisingly agile for their weight.
I was distracted the whole time by the English subtitles makes me wish there was a good high quality version of Panzerlied in English I did rewatch though very good :)
