In their most recent show in Portland, they had two massive confetti cannons that fired halfway through the show. It went fucking everywhere, which should come as no surprise, but when Papa came back onstage, I noticed halfway through the next number that he had a big, fat piece of it on the bridge of his nose and forehead. I kept my gaze on him and making subtle gestures on my face, until he moved to stage left and looked back at the center of the audience, where I was standing. He sort of started for a moment when he noticed I was pointedly scratching by brow and looking straight at him. He made a couple, progressively less subtle attempts to scratch it off of his face while the song wrapped up, until he gave up and went backstage to get it off. He came back on for the next song, but not before addressing the audience with, "Guess what, you assholes are covered in confetti too!" It was some of the funniest shit I've ever been a part of.
