Which all franchises do but usually with a cost benefit of some amount, a bulk savings passed on. Corporate Quiznos however decided it was a good idea to screw their actual franchisees for more profit. And then forcing them to comply with corporate pushed discounts that just caused their franchisees to take a loss. Quiznos was very ruthlessly ran as a franchise which caused it's complete and sudden collapse because it's still dependent on independent franchisees to keep up the storefronts.
Started watching this, didn't finish (got distracted around the old man podcast discussion, never got to the "I hope you never have to experience those 24 hour stomach bugs where you're shitting and puking every 10 minutes"). A week or two later, I wake up around 4-5 am feeling kind of strange, go to the bathroom, puke my guts out for the first time since like fourth grade. Had a terrible rest of the day, threw up about 6 times, I've spend the rest of the week recovering. If you start watching this, stay until the end, because I think he put a curse on me for leaving.
I find it crazy that the content creator I’ve been listening to for like 3 years now is going to be retired eventually and not making videos eventually. I hate the movement of time sometimes
