I'm fairly new to learning the drums. I'm trying my best to get the practice in. I really want to become a good drummer like this but I'm realizing now it's a shit ton of practice to get there. I'm in my 40's now too and I work a lot

Great playing Colm as always. If I may voice my preference - the snare sounds really strange to me - like to low, too loud, and too much reverb (almost like a tom) as it were from a completely different "set". Just my opinion.

Cool mate yeah I didn’t change the mix from last time but i had my kit down for a few months and mic positions could be different so maybe that’s some part of it 👍🏻👍🏻
