My ex-boyfriend dedicated this song to me. In the end we didn't end up together, he got married, and I have a daughter. But it's beautiful to hear this song, it always reminds me of the moments I spent with him.

I love how there is a debate about how this is the best love song and others say it could also make you think of your best friend. Truth is that's the beauty of music, everyone interprets it different. Everyone's life experiences are different, personally this one makes me think of all my brothers and sisters in the armed forces as well as two of my best friends I met on the civilian side.

This is mine and my husband's song. We met online back in 2019. He's from the UK and I the US and we were both married to other people but in horrible places. There were days I didn't think I'd make it then he came along and we fell in love from what started as an online friendship. I remember the night he told me this was his song to me and I just cried from happiness. Fast forward five years and we are now living together in the US, married, and have a beautiful daughter. True love does exist.
