@ChristopherSobieniak/Studio Toledo The circulating print of another Terry Bears cartoon, "Plumber's Helpers", has the original opening titles, but it has a TV end title. Even stranger, the music that plays over the end title of TV prints of Terrytoons has been dubbed over the opening titles. A brief bit of the original music can be heard at the end of the opening titles.
@ChristopherSobieniak/Studio Toledo Even worse, stuff was cut out of the bodies of the Terrytoons for TV prints, like the ending of the Heckle and Jeckle cartoon "Happy Landing". And I don't think that it was done for censorship. (Though I'm not positive.) It might have been done just to make room for a credit for Bill Weiss in the end titles.
1952 was a year when many people got television sets.(As far as I knew,we always had one because I was born in 1954 and remember seeing shows on the big set we used to have in the living room.)
