Great! Thanks for an authentic condiment. We make this but have small chunks of papaya instead, cut lengthwise with dry gravy. Goes well with Kachoris or Papdi Ghathia. This papaya recipe is unique to Gujaratis in East Africa and the Island of Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean as I recall. Dunno if they're still there. Dhanyavad👍🙏 In the US/Canada we do it at home.
