all the materials are in the description box of this video, I’m using “flashbond” that is the same of the more known “fabri tac” it’s a type of glue ideal for everything (paper, fabric, wood…) it’s glue “acetovinilica” ✨
That’s my favourite too ! I’ve never “ got it ” when I’ve seen spines fabric embellished before - beautiful but I felt overwhelmed by their work. Learning ‘ how’ to by the relaxed clear steps was amazing.

Like you said, all of us have our own taste that we can infuse in creating our journal but the tutorial you presented including your outline, is a perfect foundation that everyone can follow, from beginning to end.
