I would have given you a second thumbs up because you took the time to explain the solo mode and the variants. But youtube wont let me :) Thanks for this great tutorial!!!
I've just bought Paper Dungeons and am looking forward to playing it for the first time tomorrow. The rules make much more sense having watched your video, thank you!
I struggled so badly with this game UNTIL your video. Thank you!! It was like little literal light bulbs going off for me. Whew though...it's a bit much for me to remember. I'm going to keep trying though...and watching this is much as I need to. I have watched others on it but YOUR video is so great I was really wondering if you created the game. Awesome, man. Thank you!!
@@slickerdrips such a GREAT game. I do wish sometimes these things had a simplified rule set to start out. Like Legend of Drizzt. I really liked how I didn't add in advanced cards until I had the basics down just like the booklet suggested. Not all of us are real smart or maybe it's more of having a strong memory and some of us don't have other people to help us learn a game. This is one fine game though. If I had this as a teenager I woulda been super stoked!
i saw this at UKGE while David Digby was showing me around the allycat booth... i really liked the way this works and how movement is handled great video tom! Stay Hexy!
SO EXCITED FOR THIS GAME!!! When i first heard about it, i have been waiting to find it. THANK YOU Demolition Games, and thank YOU for this video, i will be sharing. Often. To teach coworkers and family members how to play :)
For fighting monsters? Add up all your hero levels, if it’s weak to one type (like rogue) add that level again. If you’ve reached the minimum damage (bottom left of the enemy card) you earn points and take damage. You lose points at the end of the game according to the biggest penalty you reached on the damage track.
You get a HUGE amount in the box. Maybe once you get down to the last 8 to laminate that way you can have a full party, otherwise I’d say it’s unnecessary.
