I can't help but think that the "You're too slow!" line is a reference to Sonic's taunt in Brawl. Maybe it's a fairly generic line, but that's what came to mind.

Happy to see you were able to show off that little event with the passengers. Granted you don't get much for it except shouting that deafens you for 12 damage but it got a chuckle out of me at least.
the last toad just says "GAAH!". Every other toad says something. especially the one that says "Luigi wouldn't do this to us!" XD. or my humor is just very sad. and i suck

.......And just when I thought you can fight Toads in this game. Well technically you did "fought" them, but you didn't attack. Would be kinda brutal come to think of it, since enemies die when defeated.
MasacoMike Isn't it already brutal that Mario kills every single enemy? They must have families and maybe some don't even want to do their jobs as Bowser's minions and are forced to. Every Mario game takes place in a war, basically.
You can actually run out of health to the toads, it gives you a game over if it happens. Better heal if you have super low HP (like 10 HP), or you die to red-spotted mushroom people.
if the angry toads are in the front and the happy toads in the back, they swipe places and the text 'Ah, I feel so much better now!' plays while the angry toads get glitchy. 17:30

Now I'm just wondering if it's possible for the complaining Toads in the passenger car to kill you. And if they would have any reaction to doing so. It's probably possible and also a boring normal Game Over, honestly.
Therm6000 I actually played the game again just to see that and I'll tell you what happens right now. Spoilers ahead (duh) I got myself to 1 health and the first toad killed me then he went happy to the front of the line and said "ah,I feel so much better now!" Then Mario did a spin and fell on the ground just like when he dies. Then the slurp guys come,suck the paint out of Mario and them the game over screen. None of the roads said anything or changed face expressions as they watched mario die, just the same 11 angry and 1 happy toad. That's messed up.

I thought toads are friendly to Mario in the previous game title, but not on Paper Mario Color Splash when fixing the train before obtaining the (fifth) Orange Big Paint Star. Maybe Bowser did brainwashed some of the toads.
I actually thought for a moment the bottom text on the train diagram said "damp dreams" Don't look at me like that, that's just what I thought it looked like it said.
fire flowers also instantly get rid of the coal. I didn't realize that though, and I died the first time I fought them, making me have to redo the entire train.

Fun Fact. I found this video while looking up Paper Mario Color Splash. So, basically, this was my first ever video watch Skawo. I watched the play through to the end. The funniest thing though was the Orrly Owl! XD
