"DO TOADS EAT AIR?!" Technically, they do eat air. Combined with nutrients from hosts or the soil Also,"Add whatevs to nah for a while" sounds kinda good
The Steaks were high here but you dealt with the most unique mini-boss battle in the series fairly well. I think they gave no hints and expected you to fail the first time to keep the surprise factor of it as pure as possible since the initial thought would be "Oh, it's just a Thing." It's weird, it's unexpected and I loved it!
You know, "sticky, yummy explosion" is something else you don't usually wanna hear... In other news, I watched this video and now I'm really craving pizza. Thanks.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed how people in cooking shows put a bit too much salt and pepper on the meals they make. Also, eating a bucket of ketchup sounds absolutely horrifying.
8:44 that's THE best way I've ever seen someone handle a chopper. Get someone to hold one end while the other jumps on it. 10/10 would chop again Also dang, they removed the Shunned Guy theme, kinda was hoping for a western remix of that creepy music :P Sadly, unlike the first two games, you don't get a crazy room-spinning animation once the guests taste how awesome your food is. They should have at least brought back that!! :(
Also, when making the pizza and failing a step, the purple Toad sells ingredients (cheap: 10 coins or so). If you fail again, he gives the option of buying ingredients that make the section easier to complete.
Holy frick, at 2:54 I just noticed at the upper right there is a picture of what seems to be a Toad chef on a Yoshi. Quite a bit of detail in this game even though you'll only notice after you've played the game.
I also used to, but then I realized that eating it by holding it was better when you're eating it casually, but I guess that using a fork can be better when you don't want to stain your clothes
3:32 *I don't know who you are,* Excuse me? Are you housemates with Sushie or something? 6:43 Ah, I see you're a man of good taste as well. 10:50, Oh, so NOW you can enter the kitchen! Bloody waiter... 11:03 Didn't that toad just claim that he was better than the head chef? He sure was quick to downgrade his self-proclaimed status... 14:11 Who's even talking to him anyway? Also, it was his own henchmen that invaded the kitchen and crumpled the head chef's body, so it's really his own fault.
Cooking with Mario, today's episode: steak Step 1. Bash it with a small and big hammer Step 2. Shake some salt and pepper Step 3. Cook it, most reccomended with grill but can also use fire flower Step 4. Give it lemon juice Step 5. Serve it That's all for today's episode of: Cooking with Mario
I hope Mario _washed_ that hammer before using it to flatten the dough and later tenderize the meat. He's used it to squash Goombas, Shy Guys, Snifits, Pokeys, Scaredy Rats, and to _paint_ with. I can't even imagine how filthy it would be.
some of the music in this game is sticker star and when you get a big paint star it is from the first paper mario [ You have to listen carefully though].
I had a bunch of mis-steaks on making that V.I.P a steak, I looked up how to make a steak, I didn't have the right hammers so I used Giant K.O and something else and Grill, Salt & Pepper, Lemon and I was done, uh, finally!
This is certainly the most interesting level, to say the least. At least it followed the usual with this game boss weaknesses being in the same level. The Golden Colliseum had that happen, I do not know about any other section of the game with the boss. This is a game I want, but i do not have a Wii U.
Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but that beginning part when you take out the Shy Guys from the kitchen is almost identical to how Chapter 4 from the original Paper Mario begins: Shy Guys run amok in Toad Town and by hammering them, you drive them back to their toy box, though you also get some stuff they stole such as Tayce T's frying pan, Russ T's dictionary, etc.
Plot twist: The VIP is actually Paper Gordon Ramsay, which explains why he just insults you when you fail and tells you to get out. (But he doesn't cuss) I still picture Gordon Ramasy going: "What the f*ck is this?" when you served him Raw Steak.
I'm still trying to figure out if this VIP is a Koopaling or if a Koopaling hijaxs the train. I already know who the Koopaling is but some people on here don't.
He is both the VIP. It states that in the next level, when you take him on at the end of the train. As well, no spoilers as to who he is. There is only one she koopaling, so saying he makes no difference.
Zachary Gossman Ah okay. I figured the VIP was the Koopaling but then cooking a steak for him, odd. Then I thought maybe the VIP was someone else but then the Koopaling hijacks the train. I just knew who the Koopaling was from Crunchii's stream
Yeah. Just by the nicknames you gave, that is a dead giveaway, I guess. I know who he is, not just by the nicknames, but the boss is a bit tricky for the orange paint star. All of the bosses are, and that is because you need the weaknesses.
Oh jeez, only 360p for me. WHY DID I DECIDE TO WATCH THE VIDEO AFTER 0.4 FEMTOSECONDS AFTER IT'S RELEASED. [insert more complaints here] Post-refresh edit: 1080p only now? 5:15 edit: was that blank commentary box intentational
MARIOS COOKING SCHOOL: >Hammer it until it looks tender enough >Put Salt and Pepper on it like no tomarrow >KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!! >Sqeeze the living daylights out of a lemon onto it >Stick a fork into it...its done!
The "what" to outdo all "what"'s. I used to be a White Meat Only kinda' guy, but Nintendo really did a service animating and rendering that steak... I also only now just realized why it smacks the living daylights out of you and deals fancier attacks the more it gets prepared: because you're cooking a "Mean Steak". Eeeyyoooo...
The most ridiculous level in the game, and probably the biggest Big Lipped Alligator Moment, and I love it, steaks be damned. (Why is Toad Security so awful? Should be a meme or something.) 5:16 ...there wasn't supposed to be a comment there, right?
For crap's sake, I was just working in a kitchen, and then the fricking Paper Mario episode I watch is about cooking. At least now I know what Mario retired from plumbing for, though. Why'd it take so long for him to finally make a pizza in a game, anyway?!
Some interesting text happens if u use a triple replica set for the steak fight I tried to cheap tjhe system and found out u can't use replicas in this fight
