He actually has 3 poses once he's at low health if you don't super guard he'll go into a full guard pose where you can't damage him at all until you super guard

This man made me learn how to super guard…it was either that or die every time.

Specifically to get to fight Prince Mush, you need to have beaten the post-game Glitz Pit. While also have completed Jolene's help centre task. If you have done these 2 then after Chapter 4 you will be able to receive a message from Jolene about how you have helped her with her task. She will mention how Mush is getting ready to return to the pit. Wait a bit more then you will receive a message from Mush himself, inviting you to the fight. Once this happens you can choose him in the Glitz Pit as an exhibition match. You can also rematch him whenever you want if you defeat him!

I had to fill my inventory with life shrooms to get a chance....I had 20 going in and left with 10

Now, I’m unsure if I just got extremely unlucky or if you got extra lucky, but when I fought Prince Mush he nearly always targeted Mario no matter the position The fact that superguard is the only way to enable damage him in phase two where he does 20 damage per hit is insane and really cool tho

So essentially, Prince Mush is the Yozora of Paper Mario.

A lot of details are missed here First you have to complete Joleanes trouble at the troubles center Then awhile after that she’ll email you about prince mush training After that you have to wait awhile until Prince mush emails you and then you can fight him

Don’t forget about the fact that he can make freaking clones of himself

Can't do that all yet, Gotta go to the trouble center and help Jolene with her issue first. After that in 30 min you get a message from Jolene thanking you plus slso talking about Mush.....another 30 min later Mush will contact you and that's when you go battle him.

In Spanish, Prince Mush is called T. Rex. You know: Tyrannosaurus Rex, T for Toad.

You know something? Mario would be pretty easy to counter. Of course Mush thinks to dodge attacks. None of the other Mario enemies think to do it.

I thought he was a postgame boss fight, so it honestly felt easier than expected

I slapped on 48 Power Rush badges and disrespected Prince Mush by giving him a concussion from a single Hammer throw.

Pro tip: When battling prince mush, I recommend using about 15 power rush badges and trading all of your health until you have 5 max hp and lots of Bp.

I literally just saw like a flurry of attacks for 10-13 damage each that’s insane

Actually you have to do Jolene’s trouble first or else this wont trigger I would know as I only got access after chapter 6

Weirdly enough this was the addition i wanted the most when the remake was announced

There are two steps you missed to unlock this battle. First, re-complete the Glitz Pit and become champ again. Then complete Jolene's problem from the problem center first. Then she'll email you about Mush starting his training again. Not long after you'll get the challenge message

I think getting him as a new teammate would be a cooler option after beating him

Correction you gotta do Jolene’s trouble and then wait roughly an hour before prince mush is available

I wonder if you can still do that exploit where you get your HP down to 5 and stack a bunch of Power Rush Badges to do 99 damage per hit.

i beat him in mario’s first turn and the helper didn’t even do anything at all… lol… all i did was equip over 20 power rush badges and the jump man badge with the power plus badge and bounce badge… he was a push over

I do wanna battle Prince Mush to get that useless belt 😂 As gamer of the original title, I’m glad that this fight scrapped from it was finally added

How to prince mush for people who suck at superguarding: yoshi in front with quick change and charge P. Keep charging with yoshi and then swap him out with someone else during Mario’s turn. Defend with Mario until you get a super guard. Then power lift with Mario and either stomp or stampede with yoshi. I won the fight first try with two super guards.

It's a fun fight! Ended up beating him last night!

I recommend leveling up A BUNCH, learn how to Superguard very effectively, or have a lot of FP. As stated in the video, you need to superguard Prince Mush to attack him…for one turn! If you aren’t perfect at superguards, or pretty low level, I suggest using Koops’ Shell Shield. It will tank the multiple hits Prince Mush will do, and allows you to focus on maximizing damage. I know there are some who like to use Multibonk or other moves that can hit repeatedly as per the timing of a button. But even using the Power Smash or Spring Jump should do the trick Overall, a great boss and one that’s a formidable foe, along with the final boss of the game and the Pit of 100 Trials.

Finally saw a toad go supersayian

Mush is actually really easy as his superguard phase is only after half hp, so just buff up Mario close to half his hp, power bounce and he's dead.

Not getting to fight Prince Mush in the og release was a missed opportunity. Who cares if the item received is for bragging rights only, long live the og champ of the glitz pit!!

Prince mush: make sure to super guard and pay attention to the stance to win the fight with any methods Master4: you better have the right badges and block everything or you're dead turn 1

This fight is way more fair than the Master 4 fight in the PM Master Quest hack. Here, all you're expected to do is super guard and pay attention to stances. A reasonable challenge. MQ demands you have a specific set of items and badges in order to win.

When he says body, thef I think he just means dooplis

You can beat him with 2 hammer attacks, just get yourself down to 1 health becore the fight and use power and mega rush badges, can easily get 30-50 damage in a single peircing strike. I hit him once, tattled him, and hit him after he upped his attack and beat him. Super easy

So, our reward for surviving the absolute hell that is this boss is a useless belt? Wow... ngl I thought he'd joined us as a party member. Probably be better than Ms. Mowz

My Mario does not have enough health to survive that 20hp combo I gave him only 35 hp

Just use danger Mario or charge up before hitting him to one shot him and he won’t go super saiyan other than that one attack showed in the video that hits the person in the back

Sacrifice yoshi as your partner FOR THE RITUAL OF THE AGES DOWN WITH THE YOSHI We have been doing it sinds the first game where we sacrifice Yoshi to get to the end of the stage

I honestly hated this fight. Not only does he do an unfair amount of damage, the second phase gatekeeps you by making him invincible until you manage to superguard one of his attacks.
