For example, why is the Rogueport theme going so hard on the drums? Feels like I'm at a rock concert, and that's the main hub. I do like how different battle themes get their own victory themes though.

0:11 Yeah, original could use a remake as well, but unlike Thousand Year Door, paper mario 64 keeps getting made available through virtual console. You could buy it on the WiiU, and it's available on Switch Online's N64 expansion. I don't believe Thousand Year Door has ever been ported beyond it's Gamecube version, though.

I can't help but wonder if there's been some kind of call to arms within the community to give this game the literal opposite of a review bombing-dozens upon dozens of straight 10s-the very femtosecond it becomes possible to do so, in an effort to "make Nintendo understand" that Paper Mario should never stray from the traditional formula _ever_ again. Sure 64 could of used a remake more but 64 has been rereleased on Wii,Wii u and switch online. TTYD hasn’t seen a rerelease since 2004.

Imagine whining about the screen going black for a transition for less than a second and saying it's "worse." If that's how you're acting already then this playthrough is gonna be painful to watch.

I totally agree that Paper Mario 64 needs a remake, but with hiw expansive the overworld is and the lack of post game content, Nintendo finna be at that drawing board for a LONG time
