Almost surprised they didn't even joke about the Lakitu Pipes thing. Like "... Huh? Says they can throw pipes. Must be a misprint, because these guys throw Spiny Eggs!" While this is mostly a filler episode for the classic tournament arc, there is a bit of interesting trivia: particularly the "Seven Wonders". While most of these are quirky bits of foreshadowing (if you can call it that), their presentation is a little interesting - particularly because they parody a classic "Seven Rumors", a series of popular tales that seem to have a history of cropping up around Japanese schoolyards. It's become a bit of a classic narrative trope, even: a series of seven spooky rumors, usually associated with subtle-but-paranormal findings. A staircase with more steps on the way up than down, voices coming from a locked-off room, and places people seem to disappear... Along with some ones that tend to define the trope, such as bathroom-haunting ghosts and music coming from locked rooms after closing hours. I can't quite find out where it all *started* , but it's certainly been a trope that's stood the test of time... ... On the subject of rumors, apparently that individual being carted off in the hallway is thought to be one of the people who "discovered" the dark truth of the place. Again, this one's pretty unfounded, since it's a bit vague... but it's interesting to consider this a bit of potential foreshadowing.
The pipe thing was only in Dark Lakitu's tattle, we're yet to see if it's still around On a bit of a different note, it could be cool for them to actually spawn pipes that spawn Spinies on their own and need to be taken out

The ONLY bingo that's ever predetermined in the game is a Shine Bingo during the final boss. No other bingo is ever predetermined in the game. When a bingo chance happens is random, and the last slot is always timing based. The roulette is just a little weird sometimes
No, I swear, I try to hit away from it and it still loops around to the Poison Shrooms. I am terrible at the BINGO roulette on the GameCube and yet I'd say the Poison Shrooms I hit somewhat consistently, enough for it to be a concern
The only game over I ever got in this remake was against Bandy Andy and his fellow Bandits. One of them had an Ice Storm, which froze both me and my partner and then we got wailed on and died. I guess it doesn't really count since it was in the Glitz Pit but uh, yeah.
