I’ve been playing paper Mario in Spanish. All the special move names in Spanish essentially have different meanings. Sweet treat - Recuperar (Recover) Earth tremor - Terremoto (earthquake) Clock out - Tiempo muerto (time out) Power lift - Recargar (Recharge) Art Attack - Ataque Estelar (Stellar Attack) Sweet Feast - Como nuevo (Like new) Showstopper - Golpe final (Final blow) Supernova - Tormenta Estelar (Star storm)
They do cheer, it's extremely quiet, though, and instead of the generic audience noises in the original, the noises they make depend on the type of characters in the audience.
ohhh that's why earth tremor felt so easy on the switch, they didn't make the button press window in comparison to the bar progress much larger; the bar progress itself just goes slower lol
Even though it costs so much, I’ve always loved how POWERFUL Supernova felt. Remake really going in on the glass shatter is cool My only complaint is the crystal stars in the remake look really ugly to me for some reason. Like aluminum rather than sparkling crystal
Try saying that after using it in the pit of 100 trials. It’s so good on larger groups of enemies and more powerful enemies since it gives you a lot of time to deal damage to them before they can start attacking you, and it’s low point cost allows you to use it often if you know the stylish actions. Edit: just finished floors 91-99 and it starts being useless there since every god damn enemy in those floors has high resistance or immunity to all status effects other than burn
I feel like I mess up Sweet Feast a lot more often then I used to. It’s still decent but in the original I would heavily rely on it while now on occasion I get really subpar result. I wonder if I should experiment more with manual tapping like sweet treat requires but either way it’s trickier.
It's mainly just a learning thing, if you see a poisom mushroom you have to stop holding earlier than you'd probably think. Tbough sometimes you just snipe a poison mushroom at the top and that's that
The hearts and flowers are bundled together as well as the poison shrooms. So a lot of times you’ll get trigger happy when you see them all clump together that you end up hitting the poison shroom that is in the middle of the clump.
Damn.... I knew I disliked some visual choices, but I wasn't expecting me to favor the visuals of every single one of these attacks on the old version XD
