Hello Wonder World, Wow, that's great. I already had some interviews but no one has hit the topic so well! Motivation, trigger and possibility - everything is just right. Especially beautiful you have the senselessness of the machine and explained contrasting high cost explained. Again, best clip ever! I am very glad that you have addressed me. Many thanks, Dieter
Are you using traditional consumer 3D printers to make your parts? You could change up the type of printer you're using so you can use different plastics to allow you to work with a higher melting point. In addition, I would contact a local small scale plastic parts manufacturer and see how much it would cost to either buy existing parts or have them made for you. If you can find parts that are already made out there, that'll save you tons of money. Just adjust your prototype accordingly.
I am Paper Planes Guy... and this [grabs PFM A5 V2.0] is my weapon. [lays both hands covetously on PFM A5 V2.0] She weighs about 1.5 kilograms and fires 0,01 dollar, regular A5 sheets at 120 planes per minute. [looks intently at viewer] It costs twenty four cents to fire this weapon...for twelve seconds.
You've got the Prototype why not get it on the market you could knock that price down a lot. There's a lot of big kids out there that would love that.:)
Honestly there are military applications for this, if it was a lot faster and still not too big. Imagine putting this on a plane and using it for airborne leaflet propaganda. You would be able to cover a much larger area than with regular leaflets.
You know he could probably make some bank by renting it out rather then just selling it. There are clearly events where large amounts of paper planes would be required and as long as it would be cheaper then paying someone to do it by hand he'd get buyers. Maybe he could get a contract with some party planning services or something.
3:20 No real purpose !?? What about Event flyers at public events like parades or county fairs or Business flyers . Rock concert or band flyers . Art shows. I think you could use that for a lot of things !
