This could be one of your best reviews ever Ram and I’ve watched almost all of your videos, the confidence of describing the scent was on another level! Took me into a journey to ancient Egypt 😅…well done bother! I was wearing Spell 125 a couple days ago and I watched your review of it..can’t wait for Epona
I can tell you Epona is very well done Unfortunately can't say anything else But thank you for such a beautiful comment man, maybe one of my favorite comments ever so we are even 🙏🙏🙏
You inspired me to wear Anubis as my scent of the day. One of my favorite fragrances by one of my favorite perfumers. This, Salome and Tobacco Rose are out of this world.
My first Papillon and one of my all time favourites. A review that I’ve been waiting for and thanks for a brilliant one. So happy that you and Liz have connected!
After a year of waiting for “the right time”, finally pulled the trigger and bought it at the end of last year, for the holiday parties.❤ Yet to receive a compliment on it but honestly who needs the external gratification, when this tender scent hugs you in so tightly! If I want compliments I’ll just wear my Ganymede 😒. Ps I love you too Ganymede 😉
The way you reviewed the fragrance, I don't if this could be done any better. I was sniffing this while i was watching and you've done justice to this fragrance ram. A big thanks and prayers
Ramsey, your review of this prompted me to retry my sample of this, and my god! The first time was not even memorable, but this time around it's fantastic! The depth of this fragrance is immense. I finally broke down and purchased a bottle!
Sometimes it just takes a few tries or just different weather at the time you try something... but if I am influencing people to buy this type of perfume... I am a happy Ram 🙂🐏
Great review Ramsey. You keep getting better and better. I do not yet own any Papillon perfumes. Anubis is at the the top of my list and will probably be my next purchase. I'm really looking forward to the next interview with Liz Moores!
Fantastic review Ramsey! 😁 I really love most of her work and I can't wait to add Anubis, Hera, Salomé, Dryad and Bengale Rouge (at least 😂) to the collection
What a fragrance this is. In the heat is when it shines for me. I’m talking 90° Oklahoma weather. My experience is that I own every single fragrance the lovely Liz makes and I’ll always buy whatever she puts out. Simple.
The Great Anubis!!! One of the finest leather fragrances ever made. Truly a masterpiece!! Liz Moores is truly an artist. Just tried a sample of Kamara from Solafa scents today and I must say exceeded my expectation and then some!! Another awesome leather, oud, tobacco fragrance.
@@RamseytheRam Solafa scents is kinda like another house from Taha (Agar Aura). I’m getting their sample set from Sealed essence. And probably order a bottle of Karama.
Ohhh I have a feeling you will fall in love with Anubis There are some fragrances I don't even hesitate about recommending and Anubis is one such fragrance
Excellent review! Absolutely adore this fragrance, but struggle to make it work on me... there is something sort of rich and sensual that doesn't mesh well. 😅 But keeping my bottle and giving it another go, or three. Looking forward to the interview!
Loving this review Ram and the Liz Moores interview was great- I might go back and watch it again before the next release- can’t wait to hear your view on it. Also would be great if you decide to do a not a top 10 suede! Thanks for what you do Ram 💪🏽🐏
This fragrance reminded me of watching the movie series Mummy when I was young. This house seems to have amazing value for the money spent. I really need to get samples. Thanks for your awesome review, brother Ramsey.
Stoned Pharaoh in a suede onesie😅😅. Will always picture this when I wear it now. One of my first niche purchases. What a start it was! Thanks so much for your videos. I have learnt so much!
It's reassuring to hear in your videos that you sometimes disregard the conventions for the 'proper' seasons to wear certain fragrances. Summer is coming up in Japan, and it's brutal and humid. But I'm just getting into fragrances and most of the ones I'm interested in fall on the darker, 'winter' end of the spectrum. So we'll see how the next few months go with the thirty or so leather/oud/ambergris fragrance samples I ordered recently, haha.
Yes! Wear what you want when you want.... I have also found wearing fragrances out of season reveals different facets of the scent ... I have a problem with authority and always like to go against the grain lol
I like how the perfume head inside you referred to Anubis as “vintage” (The god, I mean, but a 2012 perfume is basically vintage compared to most perfumes these days)
Anubis is the best Papillon till date for me 🤩 wore Salome yesterday! Now just can’t wait for Epona ! I believe there’s a Russian Adam release soon ? So that one ☝️ Epona & Sherwood will probably be my upcoming purchases 💪🏻😎
Omg I can not wait for new release 🖤 have every single Papillon perfume ♾️ LOVE THEM ALL and all blind buy ♾️ Ram you are always detailed review and thanks to you I discovered this house 🙏🏼 P.S. 12+ wife’s 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪
@@Spinfish22 this has not been reformulated... the only thing that will be reformulated from this brand soon is Salome due to this specific note not being supplied by the oil houses anymore
@@RamseytheRam Liz just posted on IG that she found proper Hyraceum Absolute from Frater since Firmenich discontinued production. No reformulation needed but it’s more pricey so Salome is going up a little.
