No, that's crossing the line. Influential people are not that stupid. Today and everyday people in USA live in fear because the MAGA will get them - all the threats to Judges, court officals, election workers etc. PNG does not experience these. No we do not have Skid row ( many more others in cities across USA) and smelly people (beggars) in buses and trains like USA and we are not all abese population (problems with eating bad food). No we do not have Majorie Taylor Green and her Jewish Lazer clown and we do not have INHERENT and deeply rooted racism in our country. We do not have a joker called George Santos. We do not have spinless republicans bowing down to Trump. We do not have police states and we do not have problems with abortion taking away womens rights (dark age problems). Being a refugee in another country is low and they would go back to their original land rather than settle in a new country. For Melanesians in general, their land is their home they have no place or country anywhere in the world to call home except for their own. Their sense of ancestral land attachments made the majority of the people in PNG strong supporters of Israel. Despite its proximity to Australia, you barely see PNGeans sail in droves to Australian shores illegally.
