This side arm has been like an old faithful friend to me. It is still going strong. In my opinion the old Para Ordnances before they came over to Para USA were and are top notch if you can get your hands on one. All the original Para Ordnances were made in Canada until they were bought out and operations were all moved to the US that's when they changed the name to Para USA. As I understand it you can buy a Para as in made in the US for a fairly reasonable price but a Para Ordnance, as in the original company made in Canada I believe is usually between 800 and 1,000 US dollars. I've always heard, experienced, and read excellent things about the original Para Ordnances. I have never handled a Para USA and have read mixed reviews on those. A lot of folks definitely get confused on the fact those are not the same company although Para did come from Para Ordnance
