Founded in 1908 for the mentally handicapped that were sent away from families and their homes to be cared for to only turn into what nightmares are made of. Lack of care, neglect and abuse. What shouldn’t have happened in this sanitarium had happened.
Closed in 1987 from overcrowding and patient abuse.
