@@jackintosh3423 problem, Iive in Israel and I'll need to pay tax and shipping it will cost 30$ more so it's not an option for me but this cable is amazing
Alright, been using this cable for exactly a month now. Seriously I don't understand how people love hard thick braided cables on their mice but that can be personal preference. I'm using the G Pro from Logitech, fantastic mouse, one of the best sensors, good switches, lightweight with good build quality. But when I took out the original cable, it weighed more than the actual mouse, excuse me Logitech wtf? The paracord completely removed the "fk the cable drag" thought from my mind, I do still notice it from time to time but it's too insignificant to be an issue. But with all good things comes bad things. 1) 2 days after my first installation, the transparent shrink tube got loose and I had to reinstall the cable, but I will close one eye on that because that was probably caused by my own stupidity. 2) I bring my mouse to school almost everyday, the long cable gets easily tangled and since it's not braided or shielded, you can't just anyhow yank it and hope it doesn't break. But these 2 issues are very minor, especially if you don't fk up your initial installation. For under 30 bucks, this is quite the investment for almost anyone that uses a mouse. Gamers can easily combine this with hyperglides and get a mouse that feels "Wireless" with the benefits of wired mice, Definitely recommended.
Hey George, I don't sell them pre installed, but if you take your time you should have no problems :) You can always get in touch via support if you require assistance!
I want to mod a mouse but don't want it to heavy or either expensive,i am buying from amazon an i can get a finalmouse air 58 for 250 bucks, but I'm thinking of ithermouse i am a palm grip, which mouse will you recommend for me?
I honestly don't know too much about the dimensions of mice and what is best suited for hand sizes. I have a claw/ finger tip grip and use the FK1 or FM UL currently. If you could try some mice from the Zowie series you might find one that fits your grip style nicely.
@@oxygen_c9941 not sure, prolly the main ones.. heard that they come with omron buttons that dont have a very long life.. the click feels a little flimsy too but its going good for me from 7 months
Yeah some are alittle tougher to remove, you can use a flathead screwdriver to slightly pry the clips and then wiggle out the white connector which can make it easier :)
Hey, for this mouse mod the tools required are: -hairdryer to remove the feet although I recommend replacing them. -small Phillips head screwdriver -mini heat gun/ lighter / candle lighter I hope this helps :)
Hey Jeffrey, the screw at the rear of the shell can be hard to remove if aren't using a screwdriver with a grippy handle, using all metal precision screwdrivers make it a challenge to remove them. You might have already tried a grippy screwdriver, but thought it would be worth mentioning :)
@@ZerkGamingMods ya it was really hard, and then i had to shake the mouse to let the screws fall out and then i lost 2, after 1 hour i found em both, paracord and new glides and side grips all installed now xd
What about the color combination of the cables? Some time ago I broke down a mouse because I didn't know how to place the cables correctly, in no video do they explain how to place the combination, they simply connect the new cable and it magically works
Hey! For the GPro from left to right with the wires pointing to the floor and the white plastic flaps facing you the pin layout would be: GREEN WHITE RED BLACK EMPTY Hope this helps 👍
Does anyone know a place to get reliable tools online? My screwdriver legit bent sideways from the stupid G Pro screw and i live in the middle of nowhere
I am just installing my new paracord and im just wondering if you really need to heat the parts of the cable. Is it just an extra step or really required?
@@ZerkGamingMods ok so like what if i want to buy one from ur website which one should i bu (not color wise) and is it world wide shipping since i live in Pakistan
The USB header on my G Pro's PCB seems to be very difficult to remove. I don't want to pry it out with anything since I don't want to break it. What should I do?
Hey, whenever I get a connector that is harder to remove I just pry it gently either side with a small flathead screwdriver, I then wiggle the connector out by holding it by the white plastic connector. If you don't want to pry it as mentioned I would suggest holding the housing down with one finger and wiggling the connector with the other hand to allow you get more force on it. I have also read people using tweezers although I have not used this method.
Any idea why are the screws are so damn perma tight? I first used Philip #0 but can’t even move an inch of those screws, then I proceed with #00 and #000, none of them can even make any slight movement in the screws. I was so titled ended up stripped one of them
@@ZerkGamingMods mine is the all metal one with rotatable handle. Is it necessary to use a Pozidriv instead of Philips? I think I stripped the head of the screws by initially using PH 1 before buying a set of smaller sizes i.e PH 0 to 000
The only issue I have had with all metal handles is getting a good grip when the screw is tight. I have only ever used P#0 so I can't comment on the posidrive, typically all of the mice I have opened have taken this size bit just fine without any slipping.
@@ZerkGamingMods Nvm I just managed to remove those screws and successfully paracorded my g pro wired. One last question, I kinda messed up the clear heat shrink part thus it's tiny bit loose between the cable where it sticks out from the mouse (i.e can be wiggled in and out a little bit), it doesn't bother me while using the mouse but would this cause any sort of damage or adverse effect to the mouse in the long run?
I'm pleased to hear that :) You will be fine with alittle bit of movement asking as the cable can't be pulled out, if it does bother you the clear heatshrink can be reheated allowing you to position it differently though.
idk why but the G Pro Hero version, the original usb head is stuck and it won’t come loose Update: broke 3 nails trying to get the original usb header out and I still can't get it out. Not sure if Logitech straight up glued it in to prevent people from paracording it, but maybe its still possible for g102 and g203
Hey, Junny I have had customers that have paracorded the GPro Hero, some connectors can be harder to remove than others though, a small flathead screwdriver can be used gently to pry the connector out if you have difficulty removing it with just your hands. I hope this helps!
Can you do a video on the g302/g303? I know it is an old mouse but it is a fan favorite of many cause of it’s unique shape and as i recall shroud used it for most of his csgo career and he has godly aim.
I made an order yesterday just unsure as i didnt have an account but when i made one with the same e mail there is nothing in my orders section. Although i have an order confirmation e mail.
Do you know if the back shell can be completely removed? The part where there is the Logitech logo on it? If it can, would be great to reduce some weight
yessir can be done but use some of the honeycomb 3d print designs i guess? cause no shell will be uncomfortable (just get it printed from a local 3d printer dude in your area)
Hey David, I would first check that the pin layout on the white connector matches the original cable, if this cable was ordered from us you can get in touch via our support email with your order ID so we can take a closer look for you 👍
@@ZerkGamingMods It was from a different seller, I'm not in UK, so the sending expenses are too much for me :(, I guess I did get the wrong one. Which specs should I look for a cable for the Logitech G203?. Thanks
When ordering you would need to make sure that the cable maker where you ordered from knows that the cable is for a mouse such as the Logitech Gpro, not all mice share the same connector or pin layout so specifying the mouse is important to get a cable that will work for you :)
Alot of the wired Logitech mice share the same connector and pin layout to the GPro, other mice such as Zowie, Vaxee ect use different pin layouts to the Gpro
Heatshrinks require you to heat them up so they shrink to the cable and stay in place. The blue part of a lighter or a mini heatgun as shown in the tutorial can be used to heat up the heatshrink :) If you have any further queries with this please don't hesitate to ask!
Hey Tera, it is possible but if you have a lighter or candle lighter that would be much better. Just take your time, rotate the cable so the heat is not in one place too long and you should be fine :)
Hey Homesy, you might find that the width of the screwdriver is too large to fit Into the screw holes. For reference I use a Phillips P00 or P01 for most mice. I hope this helps!
@@ZerkGamingMods so there is no specification of this cable ? and the only thing that people say its good only bc of the flexibility ? does this cable increase respond time from mouse to pc ?
The response time for custom cables will be the same as the stock cable, the mod is done soley for a flexible and lighter weight cable to make a mouse feel wireless. It also allows people to match the colour of their cable to their custom mouse/ setup.
@@ZerkGamingMods Alright thx. Amazed how fast you replied to my comment on a video that was posted months ago. Will update my comment once I get my Paracord working on my G Pro (It just ended the processing stage, hopefully ships soon) :)
Fast forward 2 weeks, Finally got my paracable. Initial impressions are, it's amazing and I fucking love it. Will update this post after a month of use
to expand on my comment, if I use it on my g102 tomorrow can I turn around and install it on a zowie mouse the next day or are the usb connectors different.
Hey Keat, you can use it more than once. To make a cable that was made for the G102 in any Zowie mouse you would need to change the pin layout to match the original Zowie cable. If you need assistance with this feel free to get in touch!
Hey Ayva, it is heated to shrink to the size of the paracord and will also stick to the paracord due to the glue inside, which will keep it firmly in place once cooled. I hope this helps :)
Hey, yes for mice that require thin clear heatshrink I provide two pieces. Only one is Intended to be used, but the other is spare as it can be fiddly with placement with the thin heatshrink. I hope this helps!
Hello Aquap, thank you for the question. Using the blue part (closest to the lighter) of a lighter flame means you are using less heat on the heat shrink, if you are using the top of the flame (yellow/ orange part) it would be easier to melt the paracord as it is hotter.
@@ZerkGamingMods Alright, is it better though to have the heatshrink like 2-3 cm away from the top of the flame as even though the blue area is a bit less hot, it would also melt the paracord if the process isn't done quickly enough, maybe two or three seconds. Anyway I think it would be nice to add more "normal" green paracords to choose rather than just neon. Loving mine!
As long as you have the heat shrink in the blue part of the flame you are good :) Just ensure you aren't ever keeping the cable still, so when you are heating the heat shrink you should always be rotating the cable. This significantly reduces your chances of melting the cable. Thank you for the suggestion! Everytime I restock the site I try to add new colours and patterns, so I will keep that in mind. Glad you love it, thank you for the support!
Hey Fadden, our cables replace the stock stiff/ less flexible rubber for braided cables. Paracord cables are more flexible/ lightweight which gives it the wireless feeling. If you have any further queries I would be glad to help :)
Hey Kim, the issue with using a heatgun for removing the feet is accidentally melting the feet or the bottom part of the shell if you hold it there too long.
Hey, the screw that is towards the back of the mouse is deeper so this does require a longer screw head to reach it, having a larger screwdriver handle can help remove these if they are in tight.
Hey TheDok, if you heat them up slightly so the glue becomes softer you can carefully take them off. The g pro/203 and 102 feet are quite easy to take off without doing damage, due to their size.
