I trimmed and reposted this video because I think its been lost on my channel. Based on the number of questions I get on this knot (the sliding knot on my Steel Saints Lanyard), I think people are not finding this two part series which was a followup to my original Manrope knot video, this one clearer and with better lighting!

I've had a lot of trouble with this video. I think it's great you're trying to help everyone, but when you stop in the middle of beginning the knot, without finishing the step completely, then turn the rope, to talk about everything for over 20 seconds, I just kept losing the color/placement. It would be great if you could do a few parts to this video, perhaps using neon colors or purple/yellow, something like that would help. Keep up the good work!

Great tut! Wish I had found this one first....very easy to follow with the contrasting colors!

If you continue trying crowns like you describe you would have a round sinnet. Cornering creates round while reversing the leads back over themselves creates the square sinnet. It is how you continue after the 1st crown that creates the difference between them.

I want my four strand lanyard as long as possible. How many inches should I allow for the manrope knot? It looks like you have about 12".

Is it my imagination, or is the Wall Knot and the Crown Knot the same knot but in reverse or a mirror image of each other?

Super hard. Can't do it, it really need an expert knotter to be done (which I'm not).

You should be in a quiet room to do your videos, all the noise in the background makes it hard to concentrate on what you're saying.

It would help if you asked your children to allow you to produce your videos without all the noise and distractions. It is very disconcerting having all that banging going on in the background.

You shouldn't ask for that kind of thing. The man posts a video to teach something of his own free will and you advise him about his children. Learn manners.

@@patricio1821 It has nothing to do with manners my friend and everything to do with professionalism in presenting your content.
