Y'all were on em!! We definitely wanna make a trip there its about 4 hours from us but looks worth it. Y'all should get some shots of releasing the fish too love seeing those kind of shots.
This is the second time I've ever been there myself . Most everyone swears by chicken breast nightcrawlers and leeches to be top baits there. So I would definitely have those 3 things . I have not done well on live bait there yet but again only my second trip. We used cajun crawdad tails today.

I've been pay laying since the late 80s,and though I don't do it as often as I use to. I love watching yours and wild bills videos. I know using the phone or even a camera with the heat makes it harder but , would love to see some bobber down video. When or if possibly. Keep them coming.
If I can get my camera working again I'll do my very best . I like watching it too lol . But you have to film a bobber so long to catch it sometimes it's crazy. Thanks for watching and talking to me buddy
@@reallifeoutdoorsshannonbla1695 it's a really nice place they got pigs in there bunch of 50s and 60s fish it 8 to 9 foot anywhere around the lake you'll catch them there slamming crawlers right now

It seems to be . It most definitely is a very popular lake . Its talked about alot . This trip was great trip but to hear others stories of this place we had a slow day lol . Most people talk about going and catching 50 to 70 fish each trip . I cant wait to hit it when the water temps go back down
That is a tough question lol. I guess short answer is the one working at the time lol . But I take everything I can catch I'll spend a whole day running traps fishing river for baits . Every lake is different and fish respond to different baits . So I dont guess I have a favorite I just take as much as I can get and hope what I have something works lol. Cubs, mullets,shad, War mouth bluegill yellow bellies of course nightcrawlers in early spring and they fall. We might have to try to get together catfish and fish somewhere
