same and im glad i did the videos are very educational and I like everything about the style and everything and I'm fascinated by howmany species exist and I'm learning about some snakes that I've never heard of before
Somehow it just kind of radiates from the presentation style when someone is well educated and very experienced in the topic. I'm doing my PhD studies right now, and I'm getting the same vibe from your videos as I would get from my best university teachers. Keep up the good work ;)
What a beautifully colored snake! I'll leave the keeping of such lovely and delicate snakes to you but I do appreciate you sharing videos. I love how you capture them; their personalities come through well.
this is a intresting and helpfull videoe i ke you're content its very good I think this is a cool snake aong with dragonsnakes its a shame they arent as avaib captive bred as the more easyer to breed and care for snakes though as they all are gorgeous and am looking forward to more videos fromyoure change they are ver educational and handy
Another outstanding video! Your channel is definitely on my must-watch list. I love that you're covering such uncommon species. Keep up the great work! :)
You have beautiful snakes and your videos are great!!! You are awesome with your husbandry of these creatures!!! Are the eyes actually as big as they look in video and if so is there a reason for it? Thanks 😊
Their eyes and head shape reminds me of some kind of Lizard species. Really pretty colors and patterns. I have watched a ton of videos on snakes, and never heard of this one before! Thank you for the content.
Just a couple of days ago, this species of snake got into my house. I suspect it was looking for a place to cool off or maybe was trying to run away from something. I got a phone call from my dad that afternoon to help catch and release it because my sister in law spot the snake near our kitchen, and she was terrified of snakes. It managed to slithered under the refrigerator. With the help of my other sister, we pushed the refrigerator and out the snake went. I quickly caught it by the tail and when it was calming a bit, i tried to hold its head. The snake managed to bite me instead. It didn't hurt but it quickly bled. With the tail still in my grasp, i decided to put it in a plastic bag. I wanted to drive out and release it but my dad had called the security guy out front and he took the snake. I wonder what happened to it, whether they release it or do something to it. I wish they didn't harm it whatsoever. It was indeed a beautiful snake, already about 3 ft long. I have a hognose snake under my care, and was glad my dad trusted me enough to catch it.
I've never kept them, although I do think they're beautiful. While we do keep a few Python and Boa species (along with a few misc. families of snakes), we primarily focus on Colubrids. :)
A little paradise snake came to my bed(maybe entered on our window). I was mistakenly thought that its a shoelace since its color is kinda neon. I look closely and it moves. I called my husband, he put the snake into a tupperware since we panicked and I got a tupperwear since that was the only thing I saw. We are planning to let the snake live on the jungle, when suddenly (without any knowledge with this kind of snake, since we are currently searching what kind of snake he/she is) there is this sun rays that hit her/him in just a Minute, the snake died. We are very sad since the snake is so cute and we are excited to bring him in the jungle. But its too late.
Great video but can i ask why don't you make the video a bit more personal and have you or somebody holding the snake or something of the sorts like other channels? i'm sure it would really increase the views on the video.
Because I'm not so much concerned with views as I am providing quality education to the community on the species I love most. I want the focus to be on the animals, not me. My presence in the video does not contribute to the educational content; in fact, I think it would distract viewers from it. If my presence (or lack thereof) in our videos is the determining factor as to whether someone watches us or not, they're here for the wrong reasons. We don't want to be like other channels in that regard, quite honestly.
@@CMZneu I appreciate your question, because I know a lot of other viewers are probably asking the same thing. Maybe in the future I will make a video that goes into more detail as to why we are not present in our videos.
That's a very interesting and beautiful snake And thank you very, very much for encouraging enrichment! IT'S IMPORTANT! Do you think that shed geneticists could work with BTS shed? because that would be great. Not that my skink dislikes being called by They/Them pronouns LOL.
We feel the same way about enrichment! Our goal is to provide the absolute best for our snakes. Always has been, always will be! Rare Genetics, Inc. specifies on their website that they are currently developing a sex determination test for Blue Tongue Skinks, so it should be available in the near future. 🙂
Reptilinks are fantastic for many snake species, particularly ones that have an atypical diet (such as lizard/frog eaters). They're usually hit or miss, though -- some snakes take to them, others may not. I offer Reptlinks to a few different snakes, such as my Cribos/Indigos, False Water Cobras, Kingsnakes, Sunbeam Snakes and even my Dragon Snakes. There are various different "blends" of Reptlinks (frog/quail, rodents, even iguana) so there's something for just about every diet. I opt to feed Reptilinks to species that eat reptiles/amphibians if they will take to them because then I don't have to worry as much about parasitism and they're easily accessible. It's worth noting that in my experience, Boas and Pythons don't seem as interested in them as most Colubrid species. Some of my Brazilian Rainbow Boas will take them, but other than that, they're only accepted by my Colubrids and Xenopeltis (the family containing Sunbeam Snakes). Perhaps this is because Pythons and Boas are a more primitive species, but that's just a hypothesis.
