PARAGLIDING ACCIDENT

Arie is so great at knowing how to comfort lauren when under stress. They are truly couple goals. Glad everything turned out fine!

I love how INTUNE Lauren is with her surrounding! She has an AMAZING gift of intuition! Lauren had that gut feeling it was going to be a bad idea and when things went south, she stopped at nothing to get to her friend to make sure she was OK. What a great friend to have by your side.

I know a paragliding club in my country where members spend a month and a half training, learning about the topography, wind... Etc on the ground before taking their first fight. Thank God everyone's okay but please don't just think it's something you can do without prior training and preparation.

I’m glad they didn’t go, I just wish Arie would have listened to Lauren’s concerns and let that be enough. I know he REALLY wanted to go but sometimes it’s about finding a compromise that both feel ok with. Lauren was clearly distraught and worried from the beginning, then watching their friend have that albeit minor accident, Lauren was very shaken up. Please just next time Arie if you see your wife having a strong reaction to something stop and let that be a lesson to check in with her and make sure she’s ok. Emotions are just as big as physical pains. I know it’s not the biggest deal but it’s about learning to be supportive in those times your partner is having a hard time.

When you are young and no babies… go for it. Once you have babies… not a great time to take chances. So many ways to lose your life in every day living. Why take a chance? I have 2 Gkids without both parents. Just basic life accident. Babies should always be first… they need both parents. So glad you changed your mind!!! That is good parenting!!! I feel such relief you are safe!!! 💗😊 Also, I thought of Rachel on Matt season of the Bachelor. She went parachuting and slammed her head on the ground at landing. It looked like a 17 year old boy that she was with. It was a terrible landing. She was hurt pretty bad. No one ever has talked about that. I had a bad feeling when I saw a kid was her parachute partner. But she had no babies, her choice! So proud of Lauren’s choice to back out.

Paragliding is a science if done correctly. Glad she is ok. I'm concerned that the company had no recovery plan in place for situations like this. Research the word Impailment, she is very fortunate that did not happen. Trees can cause Impailment, and can kill you ,so he is giving you misinformation about that. Lauren, you are still postpartum c section, take it easy kids . I'm a RN, I've unfortunately witnessed this type of trauma, only calling it out bc I love you guys . Be safe ♥️

I know a girl who has done paragliding hundreds of times, and the last time was brutal... she ended up in the er in critical condition. Thank God she's okay now, but this is definitely an unpredictable sport - it's just not worth it. Be safe u guys❤️

We need more Heather content! She just shrugged that off and was ready to go again like no big deal. So glad she's okay. While it looked a bit sketchy, she barely got a scrape so I don't get all the comments about not doing this now that you have kids. You still have a life to live and I'm guessing you want your kids to have some sense of adventure since Daddy is a race car driver. It was obvious that this wasn't Lauren's thing from the beginning, so why not just do it on your own or with other people who are more adventurous? It's okay to have different interests and different levels of comfort with risk. It's actually really healthy to allow yourselves to be different and separate at times. Hopefully there are better wind conditions another day so Arie and Heather can try again if they want to. And Lauren, stick to your gut if it's not for you!

It's ok Lauren don't be so hard on yourself your a mommy now and once you become a mother you put things entirely in a different perspective! It's not about just you anymore. You think about your babies. So your head is in the right place my dear. Wise decision. No one would ever judge you for the decision you made. You have a awesome, supportive husband. I love seeing your love story unfold. Arie clearly made the right choice. I have to admit the filming of his season on the bachelor did you no justice! You two are perfect for each other!! Maturity is when you do not fear people's juddgement anymore because you already know yourself better than anyone. You let themsay what they want to say. You just continue doing your thing with peace in your heart and mind.

Lauren looked so happy when the cancellation was announced! The editing music was exciting. I'm glad that the staff made the decision to not go forward with the activity. The staff appeared to be very, very nice and kind!

So glad everyone is okay 🙏❤️ Lauren just knew. Trust your gut. I felt like I was going through her emotions with her after she saw that. My mind would be racing with worse scenarios that could have happened, and no way would I want my husband doing that afterward- or even to begin with. Arie is a racer and obviously loves the adrenaline, Lauren seems very supportive of that; but I don’t blame her for not wanting him to do this with three babies at home. I’m with you on this one, Lauren! Take Arie diving with the sharks instead- that would make me less nervous than paragliding too.🦈 Love to all of you! ❤️

I would have backed out right then and there. And Arie, how could you decide to launch anyway, against Lauren’s wishes, after your friend narrowly escaped death? I am so glad you’re all safe and this ended up being a lesson learned and not a tragic mistake. Ok, I’m done clutching my pearls.

Lauren is very intuitive and caring. I would be the same way. You could tell it was traumatic for her because she had that feeling from the start. Trust that gut always. ❤️

Lauren is such a compassionate and just all around great person. Watching her race down all concerned for her friend. She raced down there and even left Arie behind just to get to her friend. And watching her cry because Arie still wanted to go, made me sad lol Glad she didn’t have to go through with watching him go, she was thankful for that crazy wind 😜

I really like Lauren. In their videos it's so clear that Lauren really feels and shows her love and emotions to her friends/family. Which is funny bc her bachelor edit made it seem like she would not be the type of person to do that ahahah

This isn’t the first video where it seems Lauren’s feelings are disregarded and almost… exploited. She does seem to have a heart of gold and her boundaries and concerns do matter. I’m sure you both review, edit, and watch these videos together… but it’s hard to watch someone’s feelings be minimized. Content isn’t worth that.

We went to Maui the year before Covid hit. The first day while we were just out sightseeing I tripped and fell. Cracked a rib and hurt my knee bad. Along with cuts and scrapes. We had to turn around and go get ice. Just goes to show an accident can happen at any time. But Maui is just breathtaking. We have been to many Islands over the years. Maui is still my favourite place. Glad you are all safe.

I'm glad everyone is ok. My sister had a really terrible paragliding accident 10 years ago in San Diego. She's lucky to be alive, but she still has lasting issues from it.

Oh my goodness my heart was pounding and had tears falling watching Lauren race to Heather and not knowing if she was okay. Thank God Heather is okay and wasn’t hurt badly. She is a champ!
