Scratchy day at Swanage with the wind off at an angle. I was playing down low when a guy failed a tricky takeoff and takes a down wind slide into the water on the beach. 04:55 onward for wingovers and playing low 09:00 for water landing
Haha, seems like you were the only paraglider trying to have some fun there! One of the others was just sat there barely moving in the sky and the other failed to land in the 20 yards of beach! Woops!
I don't fly paragliders so pardon the question, but---when you control them, you only have 2 strings you pull on? One to go right, and one to go left? Is that it? That sure looks like fun!
You also move/roll your body in the harness. Generaly yes, two lines for control left-right. But there is also pulling two lines together to fly slower, land or control the wing shooting froward in turbulent air. It is fun but the higher aspect ratio of the wing the more skill it requiers from the pilot.
