Was 9m/s second climb at times which is not all that common in the UK. Base was 4500ft pretty much as usual here. But my reason for posting it was for not giving up on the low save...
Fantastic! I've not flown since the mid 90's but to watch this brings it all back. Goosebumps an' all. I know that feeling all too well when you think it's all over and then, the concentration in working at it to bring it back to 'base. Plus, I live near there now so what a bonus. Epic!!
Big love to you from israel one if the most the best video in the youtube paraglider history ..for the beginer you can see how to find a termic whit out words bravo thenx verry mutsh god blass you
Mr Tidy , Thank you. Samsung tab s is great, perfect as long as it's set to full brightness and pointing at you. very cool with xc soar. My video 100 house to the coast has a few clips of the Tab. We use it in the airplane too. Tab S2 about now...
That's the best of Paragliding: a really LOW save ! But I think, that you could better keep in the center of the thermal if you tight your turn. In a strong thermal, a wing with a 45° angle in the turn is not bad !And already at 02:58 you could turn tight ! ... maybe it helps. Cheers
Great vid, nice to see you clinging on till the last moment, well done. I’m guessing your heading is about west with descending ground below and a head wind when you catch the small bump from the farm house and then the boomer from the wind shadow/sunny side of those trees with the town in front?
What a nice low save.... you drifted a lot... i was thinking about what did you consider in order to choose the moment to start circling... you passed few bubbles in the way... thanks for sharing
4 second count in something worth turning in! i often turn to early and miss the actual thermal. i think with the shadow had to be a thermal. It was a unstable day and the air was freezing!
