Coming from a commercial tandem career of 10 years and taking flying tours for many years. I must say that your philosophy with regards to the nuances of our sport is spot on. You’ve really got to observe the thinking and the doing with complete honesty. Too excited and your not present, too blasé and your not being attentive enough, over confidence, all have the makings of wake up call coming. Enjoy your slant on our amazing sport. Thanks heaps🤩

Thanks Chris for a thoughtful synopsis of the ongoing learning curve of our individual paragliding experience. I’ve found this to be accurate in my own history.

Nice speech Chris, I subscribe every single word you said. This is what happened to me too: amazing feeling with the gear this year, flew a lot, improoving a lot and aiming for the 100s, did succesfully 60s and 70s, than all off a sudden a big big collapse-twist-almostcrash into the peak of a mountain. After that I kept flying but with much less confidence and for short flights. In 2 weeks I'll attend a SIV course, I hope that this will give me back my confidence. Thanks!

Chris' candor and wisdom always inspire me to be a better pilot and I always learn something more, even after 35+ years of flying. Keep up the good work!

Hey Chris, I thought it was a good idea to watch this again since I find myself constantly checking to see where I am on my Para-journey and am I still moving in the directions of the goals I have set out for myself. Looking forward to catching up with you next week in Michigan.

Nice... this video can turn on a few yellow lights... it's crucial to be aware of our real condition and risk level that we want to demonstrate... thanks for sharing

I`m not brave enough to even try tandem flight :) so I fly FPV drones, they get me my adrenaline rush of flight & standing on the ground ;) good videos...I enjoy Tucker Gott flying vids also, very calming and relaxing stuff to watch.

It's interesting how you see the world and all of the sudden you're doing correction. I don't really see that pattern so much.
