@@Ripstop_pilot 100 meters on Saturday. I hiked up a local hill in Italy yesterday, the idea was to have a short flight before the clouds would over develop. As I got to 100 m on top of the landing field i found a thermal and got back up to 800m. that was fun! :-)
Hey pete. Yeah I got lucky that day. Think it was 60m above ground at that low save. Was circling at tree top the first few turns. Bloody good fun. Hope to get to wales this year get a good xc in over there. You should join us.
Yes I do. This way I can take advantage of lighter lift. Ballast up with food n water if I like . Plus I font mind the wing tips flapping about, which isn't very often. But when it happens it's not dynamic at all which helps me relax.
@@alkaiosavdelas8053 well we certainly dont have mountains here....well a few but nothing on the scale of the Alps. Plus I have a bgd cure that I'm dead in the middle if the weight range. Good to have choices.
