yes it’s not ideal but as long as the gloves aren’t visibly dirty, it’s nothing compared to some of the bodily fluids we end up covered in haha. the most important thing is not to rub your eyes, nose, or mouth with gloves on.
The purpose of gloves, basically, is to protect the Medic from the bodily fluids of the patient…. We never used gloves regularly for pre-hospital care until blood borne diseases became more commonly seen.
