Since we just covered polar equations, let's go over one other way we can graph functions. Parametric equations are actually a set of equations whereby two variables like x and y both depend on the same variable, usually time, and therefore each rectangular coordinate is determined by its own separate equation. We see this a lot with projectile motion in physics, and other such applications, so let's make sure we have the basics down.

I am again, expressing my gratitude towards your reletntless efforts into educating, what I assume is mostly young teens, but even I - a whole 22 year adult who failed at math in high school and somehow doing computer science nowadays - without your videos, I wouldn't be anywhere near the (pretty humble) level I am now at mathematics. What I want to achieve is a tetrahedron curved surface version for one face. all I can do is this. ParametricPlot3D[{Cos[u] Sin[v], Sin[u] Sin[v], Cos[v]}, {v, 0, Pi}, {u, 0, 2 Pi}, Mesh -> 5, BoundaryStyle -> Black, PlotStyle -> FaceForm[Red, Yellow]] Please help me with my homework dr who is trying to help me learn future maths and I'm stuck, I'll be going baldly where no one has gone before by the time i do it myself I need help.
