LYRICS: There's an empty room at the end of the hall And it's begging to swallow you whole Each step you take Makes it easier to fall on your face Each tear you fake Makes it easier to see straight through you now And you're so hateful sometimes Throwing punches at lies Fall from somewhere above Just to say you're in love So you hang yourself from stolen dreams And under the table you hide every stain Each step you take Getting closer Makes it easier to fall on your face Each death you fake Getting closer Makes it easier to love this way now You're so hateful sometimes Throwing punches at lies Fall from somewhere above Just to say you're in love Watch it disappear The dream you hold so dear Let it fade, let it fade now You're so hateful sometimes Throwing punches at lies Fall from somewhere above Just to say you're in love
the problem with my social life is I literally don't have one it's not a joke I'm homeschool and the only time I get out of the house is literally to go to church and to train
I am here because I am reimagining all my young teen years! I have these songs burned on CD's when that was a thing. I can't believe all the under rated songs Paramore has.
This is a great underrated song imo. I love Paramore, they're like my whole life and Hayley brings me so much inspiration knowing all she's been through, she gives me hope and her voice is magical ♥ Thanks for sharing this awesome music. Paramore rocks, no matter what ppl say. Their lyrics are amazing and the melodies are totally PRICELESS.
Skylan Howerton Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that Jason was only part of Paramore for All We Know is Falling and left before Riot! came out. Also I could be wrong again but I always thought that Hayley and Jeremy were closer friends and Taylor was closer with Josh and Zac. After the Josh/Hayley breakup, they always seemed to be kinda distant with each other. And now the 3 remaining Hayley, Taylor, and Jeremy are all best friends. Just my impression of the whole situation. Please, correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm assuming you mean you read the blog post by Josh? I'm not sure how much I believe about that. Also, Zac said later that he didn't leave for the reasons Josh did. He left at the same time, but it seems like it was on much better terms with the band.

this takes me back to when a friend and I totally thought we could sing and we would send each other 20 second long snippets from our flip phones of covers and this was one of them
Nostalgia💙 I may have disliked much of middle and highschool but give or take you only live through adolescence once, it's best remembered positively and self-constructively 👐🏻
Why this was unreleased until now. I just randomly sang it today and tried to look on spotify if it was not there huhuhu. Other than this there’s a lot of songs throwing punches era that people never heard of from paramore but twas a really good songs
@@emmanouelafragaki7320 Neither myself; I am not interested in using an inactive Instagram account of mine, just to follow a disgraceful person that was ushered into the wrong place. Besides, I'd wager that the performance she showed in her live-stream, was direful.
I thought I was the only person in my school that likes paramore (because everyone listens to mainstream crappy music) but I was walking to 2nd period today, and I saw an 8th grader wearing a Paramore shirt so I'm glad I'm not the only one! I hope I can build a friendship with her :))
cara, que nostalgia... o ano era 2009, eu ouvia paramore dia e noite no meu mp3; hoje tô na reta final de medicina, mais de 10 anos de paramore, e ainda sinto a mesma coisa.
From Russia with love 2024❤️We love Paramore.💛❤️💛❤️ 17 years have passed, but the love is still the same🤗I'm 28 years old, I dream of going to a concert with songs from the first albums, it will be a heartbreak 💔 Paramor came to Moscow back in 2013, I was still a minor then and couldn’t go to Moscow alone😔
There's an empty room At the end of the hall And it's begging to Swallow you whole Each step you take Makes it easier to Fall on your face Each tear you fake Makes it easier to See straight through you, now [Chorus:] And you're so hateful sometimes Throwing punches at lies Far from somewhere above Just to say you're in love So you hang yourself From stolen dreams And under the table, you hide Every stain Each step you take (Getting closer) Makes it easier to Fall on your face Each death you fake (Getting closer) Makes it easier to Live this way Hey, now [Chorus] Watch it disappear The dream you hold so dear Let it fade (Let it fade) Let it fade (Let it fade) Let it fade (Let it fade) Now [Chorus] [Chorus] Just to say you're in love
I don't like the particular genre they went for, but that's just speaking for myself, I don't know what other people's reasons for disliking their music is.
@TheKingZexion i think its more because people want to hear the same kind of music that made them fall in love with bands to begin with. although, i do agree with your point.
So weird how some songs (like this one) can almost fade out of your brain because you forgot they existed but when you hear them you almost immediately know every lyric again 😂
hoo god i had not listened this so well al least i dont remerber this song but its so great i almost cried ooo god so good and nostalgic yeahh i will never forget this paramore paramore forever oo well i cried at last
no, paramore hasn't always been pop. If you listen to All You Know Is Falling & Riot (& maybe Brand New Eyes) it's pretty clear they've been Alternative Rock. Yes, they changed their style, doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not the same it used to be. You can hear a huge difference between the Riot and selftitled albums.
@TheIdiotCaptain Just cos they can be replaced doesn't make them replaceable! Sure, its a mroe drmatic difference if the singer changes, but it still sounds a bit different if there is a new drummer or guitarist! They are just as important as the singer, is not more!
I only heard of Paramore last year... now I feel like I've been missing out =O Nevertheless, I'll never stop listening to them; The singing is awesome, the guitar & bass is unforgettable, and the drums are amazing...Go Paramore! =D
oh wow i just rediscovered this and decoy and loves not a competition and so many others 😭 why aren’t they on streaming? i was so obsessed with them as a kid
According to the ASCAP website, Hayley wrote this song -- lyrics, music, all of it -- all by herself. And she must have been quite young when she wrote it, as well. Pretty impressive, if you ask me.
I think they should show off this kind of music. you see we were the true fans the ones who never get enough. The ones who like songs other than Misery Business, and Fances. We love paramore, the ones who will never stop listening.
ive loved paramore for 4 years now the band has only been around for 6 thats most of their career i first heard of them through twilight and would listen to their songs on the sound track on repeat i then started checking into their other songs i have been hooked sence i first heard decode.anyone else have a similar story?
