Paramotor on skies?! Final days of Ice flying

A huge frozen lake makes for a great playground to fly a Paramotor in the winter. Ski makes it super easy even in the deep snow. As spring is just around the corner I had to take advantage of some final days of ice flying before it all melts away.

There really isn't much to this video. No big moments where you fly over this or under that, or drop this or that, or get in trouble with the law this way or that way. No click bait baloney! Just a simple video, that is well shot, well edited, has a great choice of music and it was entertaining as hell from start to finish!!! Well done sir! I'm a proud subscriber!

I Like that Ski setup. I tried to order the Thor250-DS on my Rider/Flash Cruiser Trike, but it was no longer available. I had to settle for the Thor303-DS instead. More Power 👍😎👍

Nice skis. Where they're from? I was thinking to make skis out of snowboards, but they don't that rib in the middle. Probably, it's important to prevent skidding.

Ordered from Kangook. They have a steal rail in the front ski for steering and custom cradles and straps for the wheels to fit into. Also bungees to prevent the ski tips from hanging down during flight

I just bought the Powered Paragliding bible for myself and I'm reading it now!! So excited! Anyway, that's a nice lookin trike! Would you prefer trike launching vs footlaunching? Or is it the other way around? :)

Both have their pros and cons. I feel so fortunate to be able to do both! Trike today, foot launch tomorrow!

Thanks for watching! Range depends on many factors but on this trike and set up I could probably fly for 3-4 hours

Yup have put many hours on it in 2022, great all around wing and highly recommend it to my students. I have one myself in my tackle box of wings😁

@@fly-guyalberta3605 Question: A pilot on the net said the Nemo 4 (not the 5) has so much lift, he has a hard time getting it down. He claims it rises without power against the wind. Is this a problem with the Nemo 5?
