I was an avid bicyclists in the late 80s early 90s. I own the expensive road racing bikes. I was once pulled over by the police for speeding and passing cars in the city. 😂 The fastest I ever managed was on a long gradual downhill section at 53mph according to my Cateye cordless speedometer. Can't image 65mph on my skinny tires! Glad to see you had more beefy wheels and stronger frame. Edit, failed to mention my brakes were the old rim grip brakes.
I've said it once and I'll ALWAYS say it again... If you want me to buy or consider buying your outdoor/off-road/in-air product send it to Tucker Gott and let him review it honestly in the way he does best. My next/future E-Bike will be a Himiway because they reached out to him and let him make this SUPER fun video with their product.
Tucker, thanks for all you do to enhance the paramotor community in a positive way. Because you do such great reviews, you should pursue doing a review on the EOS Quattro 4-stroke engine on a foot-launch unit. We're all very interested to hear about it's pros and cons.
Laughing my ass off omg , I've done crazy adrenaline rush things too and when you are finished with your stunt you think to yourself what the hell was I thinking haha, awesome ride tucker .😂
Tucker, your maniacal laugh says it all! 😂😂😂 So how about all your paramotor buddies show up at the airport for some bike races! Probably safer on the ground tbh! Congrats to winner Andrew! 👏 You're insane and it's funny Tucker! Be safe!
😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨 Congrats to Andrew. Happy not happy for Andrew. I would have been crying tears of joy if I had got this call, It would allow me to get into the sport after proper training. Congrats you have another para motor Andrew! Sorry I am not a hater I am typing this as I realized my dream to celibate life after my health battle is still in the unforeseeable future. I do want to say I received my hoodie and it is great! The hour glass design on the back says it all and it is in the washing machine right now so I can sport it on my vacation to visit my folks. I can not wait to share your videos with them and watch together!!!
you should try riding an electric longboard. they can go pretty fast with the ones ive been on going 24 and 34 topped. really scary doing 24 on a piece of wood.
My biggest fear would be some idiot pulling out in front of me. I experience that often on a motorcycle because they don't see me, I can only imagine how many would never recognize a bicycle as something moving that fast. I would still have pinned the throttle to see what it would do even though I'm supposed to be old enough to know better. :)
Tucker: Too much time, Too many toys, Too big balls, Too little of a brain,....Too much Fun! Lol Thanks for the show. Celebrate with a good Thanksgiving meal. Cheers
Just seeing that ebike was pretty sweet! I have been searching for the past couple of years for the right one for me. This one looks like it could be a contender….albeit without the paramotor strapped on! 😅 I’m glad you’re safe from the thrill ride….now back to the skies, ok? 😊
i was stationed at Hickam AFB in Honolulu 91-94. I rode my mountain bike up to Aiea Loop Trail. On the way back down the mountain on the paved road, I decided to see how fast I could go. I was able to pedal up to 45mph and then I tucked and let it coast. I got op to 60 when I entered a residential area. When I applied the brakes both sets melted to nothing almost instantly. I had to get really creative after that to make it though the neigborhood and traffic until I slowed down.
8:19 That's pretty much how I felt after testing the top speed on my custom board a while back. It was designed for high torque but through a bunch of parts getting replaced ended up like double the original gearing and after testing it and thinking about it a bit I realized the thing was waaay more dangerous than my motorcycle lol.
As someone that spends 3 or 4 hours a day watching videos on RU-vid, If we just stop watching RU-vid and got a side gig, we could buy a damn pair motor in just a few months
For those speeds, should swap the bike tires for a pair of motorcycle grade, like some Shinko tires. Bike tires could just pull away from the rims at speed, plus most pop faily easy.
Only thing/issue I have is once you directly attach the little gas-motor thing to the bike it legally becomes a gas powered vehicle with all the cop problems that could entail, like needing registration and insurance plus restrictions on where you can ride it such as never on the walk/bike paths ever again. (Cops love handing out juicy tickets for stuff so it’s just a matter of time. Cops are just waiting for some e-vehicle legislation so they can start ticketing every e-bike they see.)
Tucker ditch the bike and stick to the skies. That bike is terrifying!😮I have asked my guardian angel to help you when you are on that bike. You will need extra angels since you don't have a parachute!❤❤❤❤😊❤❤❤❤Be safe buddy.... Love You!!!
Seems as though the legality and safety of the paramotor bicycle is potentially dubious! Glad you completed your testing safely without accident or injury to you or anyone else Tucker. Great result in the giveaway for Andrew! Thanks for posting.
Ha exactly what I recommended when you did the other video. Now how about a trike so it will have a lower center of gravity and bonus points if you make something shootout the parachute so you can take off at a moment's notice.
It would be interesting to know if the paramotor on the road used more gas or less than in the air. Here is a paramotorist who has his engine mounted on a bicycle carrier in the back of his Tesla. I joked once if it gives emergency propulsion if the Tesla is discharged. Next Tesla Supercharger is about 100km away.😊🇫🇷
Wow!! What you did was outrageously dangerous. I'm happy you survived. Can you imagine if a squirrel or rabbit crossed your path, or you had a deer suddenly appear? You also moved the center of gravity to the rear which caused the wobble. At the very least, you should have had someone follow you in case of an accident.
Fun stuff Tucker around 3 minutes in you look like excited kid who's got a secret fun thing your planning. Liked: & my dumb ass has no self control when it comes to motorcycles.
Hey Tucker, have you made a video yet about why paramotor pilots avoid flying in the middle of the day while paraglider pilots *can and do* fly in the middle of they day? The wings can both be the same, so how does the addition of a paramotor make midday flying unsafe?
64 m/h is crazy... I managed to get up to 64 to 67 k/h (40-42 m/h) on my mtb (unpowered) when I was doing this crazy desent while I was on a cycling tour. Next year I'm planning on breaking this personal record on a tour that is taking place in the exact opposite direction that happened last year.
I think I was more scared than you were the first part when you are calling out the speed getting up to 66 saying I'm scared I was like dude me too! that was fricken crazy
Bro I'm in the market for an Ebike rn, considering between a Roadrunner V2 and Philodo H8, they both go 35 mph and have similar range, one's more portable and the other is a fat tire monster that could tackle dry sand beaches, I'm leaning towards the more portable one, seems less likely to get stolen, easier to stash ect
