I thought it was interesting. I quite liked it, even though Knuckles became more of a background character. As aforementioned in my prior post, I thought it appropriate when applying the EDGE method of training.
i could give some unique insight on account of, i have never seen the show, or was even aware that they tried to make a human hybrid show with cgi characters of sonic. that can be unbiased. i think that, they should not have done it at all. i think even for kids the first movie was cringy, but because of fully grown adults getting hyped about it, they thought a second movie would be good. from what i know from watching it with my wife on nights we were very bored, the second movie sucked ( if the first one was ok, that one sunk the bar ) we stopped watching it. now for kids id say, sure i mean if we are talking 5 year old kids, id say hey its just 2 goofy ( if not bad ) movies. but then your telling me they made a SHOW XDDDDDDDDDDD like nooooo.....no no no no .....and there making a third movie? id say ...its probably going to bomb....and as far as lion king goes ....id like if they stopped ruining good movies. its like there taking 2 old things ( sonic and lion king ) and just dealing the killing blow. ill show my kids the real sonic and lion king, before the bad times that was this era of milking stuff.
I watched it multiple times with my friends and family, and we all love the series. Lots of laughter, excitement, and discussion all around. We even quote the dialogue and jokes to each other, and sing along to the soundtrack together, especially "The Flames of Disaster"! Life is good!

Wanda looks like a alternative version of Rogue but works for FBI. She's annoying in this series for God's sake. Hopefully she never returns in Season 2 if a Season 2 ever happens
Overall, you made good points. Also the reason the date is Dec 20th still, because that’s when SA2 was released and i still love knuckles and I really hope they don’t mess up with shadow’s spin off and I’m hoping jeff is heavily involved. At least the first episode of the show it reminds us that Jeff Fowler is still the perfect director for the sonic movies. Episode 4 is like something Smosh would do. I also would’ve had rouge in the show to be honest and she would have been interesting and fun like in Sonic X. I would like rogue and knuckles have a kind of Batman/Catwoman relationship, but not the cringey archie stuff. At least I like how knuckles doesn’t have to remain on angel island he can live life how he wants. Finally, Amy and Rouge needs to be in Movie 3, especially Amy because she was the main reason Shadow switched sides.
Ayo, your story rewrite with knuckles leaving to keep the emerald safe was actually REALLY good. Like, you should make another video doing a full rewrite forreal!

I agree. Sega has a multitude of memorable characters that could be more popular. By including Amy and Rouge, they would not only expand the Sonic characters roster, but they would also include two great examples of adding good female characters into the mix. They're not the typical damsel in distress or overpowered girl boss. One is a helplessly in love teen who is compassionate to others, while the other is totally the opposite due to her treasure hunting/spy nature of charming others to her advantage (even though when she gets the chance to open up and get close to someone, she can truly be more friendly). Of course I don't want them to make it all political, but their inclusion could set a fair standard to what well-written female characters could be for a movie adaptation of a video game franchise
It seems Jeff Fowler has more passion for the series, but here's the problem , he only cares about Shadow, If Shadow gets a spin off , will be ten times better than any spin off we got so far , that's gonna suck if that's the case, and it's waste of talented,I hope am wrong
It's going to happen again, Mufasa will be the lowest preforming live action film for Disney once Sonic Movie 3 is released, I hate to say that but I'm being 100% real here as I love Disney and I want them to succeeded from making poor chooses to add politics into their films

Yeah regardless of how anyone feels over the Song universe movies, what are the chances of Kraven being any good? Sonic 3 has a way better chance to dominate that movie since Sony is super hit and miss. Whereas Lion King is a monster nostalgia trip. I’m not excited for Mufasa, but at least it’s an original story with a mega popular franchise. I doubt it’ll particularly do as well as the 2019 movie. Regardless how much it made, no one was crazy about the film itself. As for the Knuckles show. No offense to anyone that loves it, but their defense as to why they think haters overreacts is because they felt it was consistent to the quality of the movies. I mean, everyone says episode 1 was the best because it was the MOST like the movies for obvious reasons. When the plot takes off, it’s literally full steam ahead about Wade. So much so that the plot became entirely about Wade. Was Sonic the Hedgehog movie 1all about Tom the cop, and Sonic was just a supporting side character that gets no further development for his existence? Did they wanted to make a Sonic the Hedgehog movie about a random standard human cop to draw audiences over a movie about a video game character? At least Tom wasn’t a stupid ass annoying character like these animated/live action hybrid baby level movies typically be. The Knuckles show was a vision of what these movies could have been…. Wade is literally a cartoon character. Just not animated. But I don’t regret watching it. It wasn’t all bad. And I love that it was short, and simple. How it expands movie lore. Could it be better? Hell yes. Did I need more Sonic characters? No actually. But I agree with your points about including Rouge. I just wanted more Knuckles. Do I need MCU type connection? Nah. Weakest entry in the movie universe? Yup. I wouldn’t even mind if the whole show was all about Knuckles and Wade being a buddy comedy show. That’s what at the very least I thought it would be. This show was superbly ridiculous than usual. Could of easily been better written. And not just to please the hardcore fans.
Binged watched the show with my family a couple days ago. Despite the focus being on Wade most of the time, we agreed that it was really good, even with the issues it had. But holy crap this is outrageous

I want Sonic Movie 3 to succeed, but I just hope Paramount is really cooking this time. As much as I like Disney's history, their recent projects have been very soulless. They are still releasing live action remakes though because many people go to watch them (just look at the box offices of The Lion King or Little Mermaid remakes). Paramount has to play their cards well and not mess up the movie, while at the same time, I hope people make better decisions and support a movie that could have a chance of being special if done right

Way before the show even came out, i would keep my expectations low and don't get my hopes too high(so that i wouldn't set myself to be disappointed), cause when i seen people's thoughts and hopes about the show focusing about his backstory, or how they want to see Rouge or even Team Chaotix to play a part in the Knuckles Show. However, while those ideas sound cool, i just wasn't too sure about that being the case, so then i have to wait until we get more information from Paramount themselves. As for the show itself after it came out, i thought it was alright, despite the issue that most people would have from it.
This is what I been saying and wishing the show focus on Knuckles and the Master Emerald and Rouge be the antagonist going after the chaos emeralds with Gun. Have Knuckes backstory with knuckles not…wade… would have been way better we don’t have to worry Sonic movie 3 won’t be the same like the knuckles show different director and writer team. But yeah huge missed opportunities for the series 😞 I also would love of the writer from the IDW Sonic Comics Ian Flynn could be apart of the Sonic Cinematic Universe he’s storytelling from Sonic Frontiers was amazing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't think the Knuckles show is bad, more meh, I would get rid of Wanda too and I would add Vector, Espio and Charmy as way to hunt Knuckles down as they know he's a danger to the Galaxy need to capture Him, however then later on by episode 4 Knuckles and the Chaotix would become friends, them and wade would head to Reno team up to stop the buyer and his lackies, At the End Knuckles discovers that Angel Island is on Earth and goes there to hid the Master Emerald and stays on Angel Island to protect the Master Emerald and the Chaotix start their own Detective Agency in Green Hills, then the post credits scene tease Robotnik creating Metal Sonic and that Him, Stone and Metal Sonic are going to find Shadow and genocide would happen. Again it's not the worst (that still goes to Sonic Underground) it's neck and neck with Sonic X IMO (TBH Wade > Chris Throndyke and Dark Age stans defend that show when there's no excuse that Chris took much screen time than Sonic and Friends) I find Wade to be funny but still I'd rather it be about Knuckles, I still think AOSTH, Sonic OVA and Sonic Prime are better (Sonic Prime Season 3 was bland IMO, I'm very nostalgic for AOSTH and Sonic OVA) but Paramount can do better, hopefully when they tease a show for Shadow and Jeff is director (being he really likes Shadow and worked on the Shadow the Hedgehog game) then Sonic the Series would be great (yes I think that's what Paramount is calling these Sonic side stories)
Tbf I feel Mufasa probably won't do as good because of it being a prequel. The first live action Lion King at least had the advantage of being an adaptation of the original that (for the most part) looked faithful so ofc that was gonna bring in numbers. Mufasa being a prequel, with the stigma of live action Disney remakes being what they are right now, I have a feeling this could be pretty close. Plus it's a movie adaptation of SA2, one of the more beloved Sonic games amd definitely the most iconic inside the fanbase and among casuals, with Keanu Reeves as one of the main characters at that. I dunno man, I feel like Sonic 3 may have a shot.
I would just like the actor for the sister to be recast, less bowling shots, the musical to have a combination of Wade and Knuckles with Knuckles actually shown fighting Iblis and when his father died and Rouge to show up at the end credit scene replacing the actual one for the mid credit scene just like they did with Tails and Eggman atthe end of Sonic Movie 1
I agree that the Knuckles show should have focused on the Master Emerald, exploring more on Knuckles’s Backstory, have Wade’s story as a Sub Plot and introduced Rouge
Nice same score as my for the Knuckles show. Seriously hope Paramount looks at the criticism for the Knuckles show n don't do the same with the Shadow spinoff n other spinoffs, otherwise ya let Jeff just direct the movies for now on. Also thoughts on Sony potentially buying Paramount. For me, either we could get an animated movie for Sonic, or Sony wrecks the live action Sonic universe by making it Madam Morbius disease, or hopefully Sony just let Paramount n Jeff do there thing.
I hope Paramount ain't as dumb as Sega when it comes to releasing their small product next to a giant that will likely devour sells like Team Mid Racing or Sonic Superstars release next to Crash Team Racing remake or Mario Wonder. As much as I don't want Movie 3 to get delayed, at the same time I don't want a chance of Movie 3 doing poor in the box office so they gotta be smart and release Sonic Movie 3 next to Wolverine or February.

@@GamerGuyd7Aces Knuckles addressed him as "chief"...and Knuckles' father in the second movie flashback looks nothing like Pachacamac. That being said, Pachacamac does remind me of Althair from Sonic Underground, so maybe he and Knuckles might actually be related.
7:54 BULLSH IT!!! The Sonic Movie Franchise has always had absurd exagerated humor. Jim Carrey, for example. And there was so much wrong with logic at the Bar and Wedding scene. The wife grabbed gadgets from a fox she never knew before nor she knew what the gadgets do! Her sister blew up a gulf car! How can you call that "grounded in reality"? I hate the movies.
I say 3.5/10 to me. I keep saying the same thing when I watch the Knuckles series. I thought it gonna be hype but it was a mid to me. It all about Wade ft knuckles. Wade was a useless and annoying character. At least add Rouge the Bat, it will make the series better
Mufasa is more likely to bomb at the box office this time, The trailer has got more dislikes than likes, Disney has gone woke and has gone down hill as a brand in general, Most of their movies now don't make a billion dollars or even half a billion now and they just rely on nostalgia to get people more interested and struggle to make original stories that are actually good. And just because the first movie made a billion dollars doesn't mean the prequel will, Look at Captain marvel that movie made over a billion dollars then the sequel bombed and was the worst performing mcu movie ever, Sonic 3 has a high chance of beating Mufasa, Audiences will be more interested since Keanu reeves is the lead actor voicing Shadow and Jim carrey as Dr Robotnik and people are actually excited for this movie unlike some lion king prequel no one wanted.

I know Sonic Superstars is mid lol next time I'll put Frontiers gameplay or something else. And copyright claimed isn't a strike takedown.. it just means Paramount claims the money you make on the video, or they can block it worldwide (and if you fight it back it'll get striked).. it happens randomly to people and I'm not gonna go thru that again with them. Hopefully they won't do that with the Sonic Movie 3 trailer
