Paranasal Sinus Disease are common in Maxillary sinus.
Radiographic appearance of Mucous retention cyst ,Radicular cyst ,and Mucosal Thickening are in differential diagnosis to one other.
Mucosal Thickening is an inflammation of the mucous membranes in the paranasal sinuses. Mucous retention cyst in a pseudocyst caused by accumulation of mucus.
Radicular cyst is an odontogenic lesion starting in jaw the apex of an infected tooth.

The roots of the maxillary first and second molars have been shown to be in an intimate relationship with the maxillary sinus floor Roots or whole teeth can accidentally be displaced in the maxillary sinus during extraction.

Can this cause no mucus whatsoever but pain and inflammation? In addition to feeling gum pain and discomfort? I have had this on and off for years as it comes and goes but now it’s gotten worse and causing my gums to hurt and I also am getting a dry cough but it’s no mucus or infection.
