first, i would like to thank strife for not busting a bboyworld and deleting all his stuff. and for supporting P.a . Awesome interview, i had the chance to take his workshop in L.A. and it changed my bboy life forever. This is truly the most creative bboy i have ever known. Love his style and mindset of training. P.a we will c u in the mother Russia. Good luck
This is one of the best interviews I have ever watched in my life, I'm not talking about just bboy interviews, an interview in general. This is raw shit, when he said "You're playing video games again... I'm back at practice" That caught me off guard, because I'm obviously on youtube, not being productive... that made me realize how little I'm progressing as a bboy. Thanks for the extra push, for kindling the fire known as bboying in my heart and mind.
There's always that 1 hater who just has to dislike such an inspiring video. If you don't respect him for his message at least respect the man for his passion.
Ohhh.. this guy!! so much respect for PA. He motivates me a lot. i see what he does, as far as training goes. the way his mind works is something special. when he gives a workshop his approach is far complex and will help you a lot more than just learning peoples styles!! Dope!! Gotta rep what you do!. he kept his style through out all trials and persecution from any dancers! 1 love!!
The shit he said about being safe, and how we're "grinding ourself into the floor lol" sooo true. I'm glad i watched this, because i've been getting injuries left and right and it's better to play safe while you're starting rather than realizing it halfway into your life as a bboy.
Much respect to Strife posting their interview of PA. Good to see different aspects of each team's interview. Don't forget to check out our interview on our page
@p3ters00 He talks about age in relation to the number of years you dance. Of course, if you just started, then you don't have the wear & tear from starting when you were 14, right? ;-) keep dancing!
Man, what are the tracks used in this video? They're feel uplifting in a sort of way. Anyways, a great interview. Really provides knowledge on the dance. Thanks P.A for the words of wisdom and Strife for the interview.
As far as PA being stereotyped, I like the fact that he's very well spoken and intelligent contrary to what some people may think dancers are. It's motivational in an artistic sense as well as an educational sense.
@MightyBeatRockers lol true that. Still thank you for the comment and to strife for the clarification. Hopefully when I turn 40 and I feel old I can attribute it to 10+ years of dancing and not my age.
@jinruizhang in one of his blogs he explains how bbw deleted his vids twice. and most recently they started to delete threads that talked about him. it got to the point where knuckleheads cali will no longer upload there vids on that site.( as it said on the facebook status" hope that answered ur question :)
Wow.First off,so much respect to PA.That's freaking true dedication and passion for bboying right there.Doesn't get much more real than that.PA is definitely one of the most inspirational bboys I've ever seen and i hope he goes far.But secondly regarding the whole Teck Vs PA situation,i truly believe that people should be hearing both sides of the argument, including what Teck has to say: wwwDOTbboyworldDOTcom/forum/breaking-discussion/228845-truth-will-always-come-light
YO IF YOU DONT FULLY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING HE SAYS DONT TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY. THERE SHOULD BE NO CHAIN OF NEGATIVE COMMENTS WHEN AN INTERVIEW IS THIS AMAZING. I REPEAT, TAKE ALL THAT BS SOMEPLACE ELSE PLEASE. AND ONCE AGAIN THANKS, ALL OF YOU, FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO TO KEEP THIS CULTURE ALIVE. PEACE
from wut i know. there is no such thing as training too hard. its only your perception that changes that. a great friend of mine always said this to me "if you can only do one push up today make that one push up perfect and the next day do two then three and gradually add more push yourself through that limit and not to it."
cool interview. i liked his thoughts on 'smart training' and being in this for the long run :) very cool.. Guys that are getting old and dusty, dont need to get discouraged- im a very athletic person, very strong when im fit- but i wont front: i beleive funk, flavah, soul, connecting with the music is WAY more important than flashy moves- its a dance kulture in the end - so there is no expiry date on those things. but then again remember Gorge Foreman reclaming the title at 45yrs old?? yup ;)
@jinruizhang its a long story. P.a posted the emails of the bbw dude( as in the blog he refers to as "teck") reasons for deleting his vids. check out the blog, but long story short. the dude doesn't support p.a nor his work. the blog is called "public-information" it has the whole story. hope this helped :D
I felt the same way but that shit is all in the mind. I practice every day now I didn't do that when I was younger. I just make sure I warm up always. I don't touch the floor until I'm sweating.
tried to click thumbs up for the vid "This feature is not available right now. Please try again later." Too many people are thumbs upping at the same time!
Dang I NEVER post on bboy videos but I liked this one lol There's a few things I disagree with like defining what a Bboy actually is because we DO know the essence of what Bboying is but it's a good interview.
@EnigmaticElement who would you say has the highest IQ of any bboy. The ability to synthesize facts and present them in a clear way while integrating multiple variables is a sure sign of IQ methinks
@FIyingAsian Before people begin to judge or throw accusations around. People should understand both sides of the arguement and then decide for themselves. Regardless, I honestly hope that both Teck And PA are able to resolve their differences because bboying isn't about hating and its such a waste to see so such unnecessary bad vibes. Anyways. Hope things get fixxed between them. Respect.
I don't like how he keeps on criticizing his age. I am also turning 27 in a few months, and I barely have a year's worth of practice and experience to account for. The last thing I want to be is discouraged because of my age.
@MordieSG Yeah. Read the link that i posted :0 But no not Tecknyc, yeah its a moderator on BboyworldDOTcom. Read the post if you want to find out what its about. :/
He is very wise but for me I think BC one is played out but maybe that's what he wants. BC one is more of a ppls Jam. If you want a more BBOY jam then battle of the year is the one to get.
