Yup. He says Philly will be a threat, and the Knicks...C'mon. Celtics will breeze by those teams. Their legit challenges are Denver and Minnesota next year. That's it.
Why is it that its only this series that is a "bad product for the NBA" and the Mavericks "were an inferior opponent" when no one was saying this stuff about the Nuggets beating a bad Miami team last year in the finals.
Ummmm YES! They didn't even have Porzingus for 90% if this offseason. If the Celtics can resign White (he's obviously essential), Porzingus can get healthy for the playoffs and the rest of the core remains for the next 4-5 years, we're looking at a team that could win 1-3 more Championships (health depending)
@@MariE-bz2eq Jrue looked like the fittest dude on the floor to me. I've done some high level competition in my time and I really got humming around 35-45. I know it doesn't sound realistic to but you saw them out there. I think Al's got 2-3 more in par years ahead. As for Jrue, 5-6. Obviously, could be wrong, but this "team" chemistry is hard to find. Might as well run it back. The main thing is, Porzingus all season + post-season health.
Real bad look from Rory. Especially considering how DeChambeau acted the exact opposite when Xander Schauffele won the PGA. Not in the clubhouse, on the range staying loose in case a playoff happened. And when Xander won, Bryson walked right back over and congratulated him.
Interesting that there was no criticism of Osaka and others for leaving tennis, but "Rory had better not curl up in the fetal position and had better get back out there!".
Paul George has a 50 million dollar player option... He would be crazy to opt out at the age of 34 and the Clippers would be crazy to extend him. That means that to get Paul George, you'd have to trade for him and the 76ers don't have anything close to enough money resources to match him in a trade. The 76ers have to resign Tyrese Maxey and then they need to probably look at the best options available in free agency, which is probably Siakam. Not sure that Embiid, Maxey, and Siakam get it done over Boston.
It's gonna take a super team to beat them. Stevens built a solid team. Like I said in other vid, if Boston just ran back last year team, probably wouldn't win. But Stevens traded for Porzingas & Holiday. I was gonna say White, but they had White last year. But it's really Porzingas, Holiday, & White that make them unbeatable, not Brown & Tatum. Brown & Tatum shine bc the rest of the team has their back.
“Bad product” when Mavs defeated really hard teams on the way to the finals. So you’re saying there would have been no “good” product to go against the Celtics
They didn't get past Denver. The Mavs weren't that good. The Timberwolves were just big and were able to just neutralize Jokic enough to get past him in a game 7. The best two teams didn't play in the finals. Not even close.
I’m personally glad the Celtics showed up that nudge Michael Wilbon. He, like the majority of ESPN have blisters on them fingers from the chronic pulling up of their pants… And I love it.
did Wilbon say the Celtics have to get past Dallas to repeat? didn't the Celtics just steamroll dallas? not only that, they really didn't have KP most of the series - they will get better
For real. Dallas was amazing after the Gafford/Washington trade, and they full on beat up the West...and then got clobbered by the Celts. That should tell you how good the C's are AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN SHOOT THAT WELL.
Its not the celtics fault they stayed healthy and other teams didnt lol,Im getting tired of hearing that excuse from everybody saying bostin had a easy run.We had a healthier and much better team all year in the regular season and especially in the playoffs.
Memphis n minnesota 2025 finals WOW good teams have weakness also! Magic got swept by hakeem's team not just hakeem😮😮😮 BEST EVA ???? MR JORDAN. Da boss shaq-kobe co-signed in being DOMINANT
Celtics did same thing the golden state warriors did when they had kd blew everyone out and swept the cavs in the finals. When a team is dominate they will run thru playoffs. Or the lakers in 2000s I think they lost 1 or two games all playoffs
Lot of good teams yes, but Boston hasn’t even come close to reaching their peak as a team. They’re bringing back everybody the team chemistry is going to move up another level this was only year one for this big six. Did you see the way they played as a team in the third quarter of game three? That was peak Spurs/Warriors level team ball - that’s just a taste and that’s WITHOUT Porzingas. That’s number one. Number two- and NEWSFLASH you heard it here first - Jason Tatum hasn’t reached his peak either - he’s gonna have his best season as a pro next year. Year before last he was criticized for being too ball dominant - so he became a great distributor. (Then, of course, he gets criticized for not taking over enough.) Takes too many iso threes so he attacks the rim and creates opportunities for teamates. Disappears in playoffs - so he leads them to a championship leading the team in points rebounds and assists. Here’s the thing - now with the first ring and the contract a done deal the pressure is off the misguided media hype to conform to some one man team scoring robot stereotype - Kobe light or Durant light - can be filtered out and the Tatum can just be the best Tatum he can be. He’s gotten better every year he’s done it all at one time or another. Now when he just filters out the noise and puts it all together - watch out! You heard it here first. Repeat or three peat for the Celtics is coming, and MVP season for Tatum too
the Bucks made a mistake trading for Lillard? The mistake is what the Bucks gave up to get him. A lot of teams wanted Lillard. Does Giannis control the Bucks? He practically won the championship for the Bucks by his will and talent. That was years ago. The Celtics stayed healthy and won it all. They are good but not dynasty material.
Still remember that history shows 2 Tony kornhiser n Mike wilbon not KOOL Guy 2 ignore the children being murdered in GAZA and rufa while u celebrate basketball game s .. . murdered children in GAZA is real
Celtics didn’t do their parade yet and these two bums already talking about how they won’t win it next year. If Mavs and Celtics were to play next week and run it back they would probably pick the Mavs to take it 😂 - when people have bad instincts, poor observation, can’t see the intangibles in things, they hate it when they are wrong because they relied solely on stats and numbers. They already forgot Celtics were in finals 2 years ago, game 7 of ECF last year, now finals and won it. Yes, THEY CAN REPEAT.
Brown had a better shooting percentage, better defense, better clutch shots, and played better and more consistent in the first 3 games of the series which arguably should weigh more than the last two. Btw, nothing against Tatum I also believe that it's reasonable to have him be mvp. . . But he was not robbed
Boston didn’t really look that good to me the rest of their opponents were just that bad. NBA is watered down with all those 3s they shoot whether they’re going in or not smh. Boring 🥱
