I think it's really sweet as I go back and watch these clips all these years later how choked up Jason got talking about ending his time. Maybe it's all a act but Lauren, Peter, etc and the whole lot of them all seem like good people irl so I'm betting cutting his losses sucked for Jason. Been through a lot as young as he is.
LOL!....Or, Milo Ventimiglia!----Considering how they clashed as Lorelai and Jess, might be fun to see... But, looking at the big picture, semi-realistically, I think, Jared and Lauren would look better together, as a couple.
There was a comment from lily about Jason being blunt. Do you mean in that he talked about ditching or being ditched? I put a comment below but if you're out there I'm curious if this was what you're talking about.
WHOA WHOA WHOA I came here for an innocent interview with the cast of one of my new favorite tv shows, parenthood, which I've only watched 2 1/2 seasons of. little did I know, there would be a spoiler. a big huge fuckin spoiler. I can't un hear it. I know stuff that I'm not supposed to know. ahh I can't believe it.
And parenthood actor who plays Christine laughs under her breath almost at Jason's emotions. Lol the comment about Jason dating down In age. Well except for the fact that they have a relationship on the side (her and Rays character and it is OBVIOUS that he skews old compared to Jason but it is always like about how gims feel replaced by young thang like guys never feel it too.
I really like this show and so glad it's on Netflix. But I began to hate Sarah Braverman in Season 4 when she got over Mark so quickly. It's clear she was going to cheat on him when she went to LA. It only took an episode for her to get over her Ex-fiancé after breaking up and instantly sleeps with Hank. It was a serious letdown. She became my least favorite character after she did that without feeling any guilt. I can't stand Amber crying way too much in almost all her scenes throughout this series. Parenthood is a great show but Sarah and Amber are my least favorite from the show.
I agree with the Amber part but for Sarah I actually looked into it and there is actually no real timeframe that I could find about when the LA weekend took place (except that they were wearing long sleeves so it was probably Fall/winter) it could have been that weeks had passed. There had to be at least a week or two between episodes since all the houses went from Zero decorations to full on Holiday decorations. Also I am not sure that they were going to sleep with each other in LA, they were drunk yes but just because it was obvious that they were into each other doesn't mean that she was going to cheat.
Amber crying so much is actually, mostly, Mae Whitman... reacting to the material. I get what you're saying and I loved Sarah with Mark the most, but Sarah and Amber are my favorites precisely because theyre so flawed as people.
I love Jason Ritter, but in my opinion Sarah chose the right guy in the end. Sarah and Hank just fit. I had always thought Mark would've been better with Amber. Of course after she was done with high school. But, either way I loved the series finale, it was perfect.
Ok so when "Adam's (in parenthood) wife said I thought you hated me or us about either her or her and Adam do you think she was being full of baloney or serious. I mean I love how connected him and Lauren seem but Peter (aka Adam) seems more off to the side and not as affectionate with him.
Anne Liesveld I knew about Jason before John passed but I watched his movies and stuff after John died, I was a huge fan of John's, I was young but I watched three's company on reruns, I was devastated when he died because I also LOVED him on 8 simple rules.
I have nothing to do with acting or TV or anything, but I have to wonder how tied up in their character's ego do actor's get? There are stories how they talk about how their character would do this or that or not ... and I am sure they have to like different people on the set more or less like any of us at work, so what happens when they have to be in a TV relationship with someone they do not really like, or are they much smarter and better people than any of us and let their prohfessionalism override all of that? Interesting panel ... really love this show.
They both are sarcastic, smart, are parents, have been through divorce and closer in age. They had way more in common than her and mark did. Mark was a nice guy, just not right for Sarah.
I agree, Sarah spent so much time doing all the emotional labour in her relationship with Hank. I always thought she deserved better. I did however think the reason she broke up with Mark made sense, they were just at different stages of their lives, but they had the best chemistry.
Me too. I was waiting and waiting last TV season [13/14], for Us & Them to air..... The show seemed like a funny, quirky, sweet, and well-rounded. And, it was only the icing on the cake to have seen Alexis back on TV again, and her and Jason together, at that. I have loved them both since.....*Alexis---Gilmore Girls!* *Jason---Joan of Arcadia!*
Chiara Giussani no, Alexis Bledel ( Lauren's tv daughter on Gilmore girls) acted is a show with Jason Ritter and she was his love interest! ( I hope this makes sense)
