I have adult ADD and my daughter is on the spectrum. It’s hard for me to have a organized day. I find it hard to manage time for work as a daycare teacher, time for my daughter, and myself. On top of that I am growing another baby as I type. I hope that I can get the hang of things once my second child is born, but I’ve been dealing with this since I was a kid and it’s very difficult to be organized and set goals.

This was really really great and made me feel so much better. And esp in a way I can explain it to a spouse.

Dr. Sachs offered a lot of useful information. I found the woman very problematic and difficult to stomach, both in a personal and clinical level. ADHD is absolutely a disorder in certain systems, like most work and school setting, designed to support the dominant neurosurgical groups. It was outrageous that she compared ADD to being “geographically challenged”. Go treat the worried well and eat your granola Lady. Also, your book title is a warning sign too. It should be something more strength based like “supporting kids in environments that don’t support them.”
