You found bones?! In a mass graveyard?! Never...

The real unexplored areas of the catacombs are the areas without any graffiti. Once you're in that area you know you're doomed 😰

Crazy that each and every one of those little bones represent a person who lived a life, who laughed, cried, wanted, and loved. Really makes you think about how small our existence really is, because when it's over, you're just another addition to the pile of bones.

WARNING : I'm French and even if in the video everything sounds cool i'll advise people who want to explore the catacombs to remain on known path. Only certain employees of the city of Paris know perfectly all the tunnels but by the time they'll found you... :')

isn't finding bones in the paris cataboms like saying "went to egypt. found sand."

Imagine being down there and a huge rainstorm above land hits and you get flooded out and drown. That would be not a fun thing to have happen at all.

He went pretty deep for a normal tourist. If you´re ever here and get to a point were you almost see no grafitti anymore, return. Me, my gf and my brother went to deep one time and we´ve been lost for like 4 hours. Shit can be creepy down there...

This was so cool. Going to catacombs is on my bucket list and I hope to go there someday because this is super freakin' cool.

This sounds really weird but I thinks it’s fun when you first see an another video about the catacombs where they walking around and see the stuff they seeing in this video and not knowing where they are while this people know exactly where they are when they see it.

Ahhhh this brings back so many great memories!! :D but duuuuude get a map lmao hope you don't mind my commentary but I have a few things to add: 1) yeah people scuba dive, one notable cataphile named "plongeur" which means "diver" was one of the first to use scuba gear...Sometimes we just go underground in our bathing suits. 2) The garden you found is called the flower room. 3) 8:30 IS THAT SIYA?? damn I wish I had been there to show you guys around! 4) that "secret" room is the cinema :) 5) 13:40 yep you made it to Montparnasse! The bones there are most likely older than the bones of the official catacombes. These guys are probably plague victims or poor people who couldn't afford a burial plot. We like to play jenga with the femurs :P 6) 17:25 yeah unfortunately a lot of people steal the really intact skulls so not many are left. 7) PARIS IS THE BEST CITY EVER you gotta go back and actually visit above ground lol

Dude Josh you are legit my fave urban explorer. You keep taking us to places that some of us may have never seen on our own. I mean, a GARDEN in an esoteric branch of the catacombs?! Secret rooms, tunnels filled with water, undergound explorer parties?! Like I've always heard of the theatre in the catacombs but I never thought I'd get to see a cool little walk through of it. Might as well call you the Indiana Jones of the modern day, for real.

Honestly, Josh is probably the only explorer channel that I will ever enjoy watching because he give such sincere content and the respect that he has for all the abandoned places he visits genuinely out of the kindness of his heart is so nice to see. I love experiencing the things he experience through his eyes. It’s just amazing and thoroughly accurate.

I was planning on doing the normal catacombs tour since I didn't know they had another entrance, but after seeing that movie up above down below I'm definitely gonna get a group together and explore the secret rooms one day! Also if you return to Paris, I heard there is an abandoned Nazi bunker that still has bombshells! its in the forest and super dangerous but people have tea parties and stuff down there it's super cool.

This is so sick! It's been my dream since I was a kid to go into the Catacombs!

The thing i hated about this is the graffiti. Dont get me wrong artsy fartsy blah blah. But to see an ancient place just to be spray painted like doesnt give that spooky feel its honestly annoying

Thats crazy if some crazy ass killer wanted to kill someone he could totally hide their bones with all the bones in the catacombs and they would blend right in. Wow.
