I agree with all your comments. We stayed at Paris a month ago and had the best visit! Our room, a king, had a view of the pool, was spacious and comfortable. We had two dinners at the Cafe Americano and ate at Ocean One and Blondies when we were just interested in having a basic meal. We loved the atmosphere there and will definitely stay there again.
Great video! I’m staying in renovated Burgundy King for one night in April before moving to the Aria Sky Suites the next day . I love the Paris hotel . Such a good vibe . I’ve eaten at the Eiffel Tower restaurant for brunch and it was awesome . Dined at Vanderpumps last May and loved it . Really enjoyed your video. The French background music added the perfect touch 😎😎😎
im staying here in July I'm so happy to hear that the pool isnt a pool party vibe, i wanted to be able to easily find a seat at the pool and enjoy a cocktail while reading a book, we were originally looking at the flamingo but figured that would be nuts to find a spot at the pool! Paying resort fees you might as well use the pool everyday :) thanks for your review & tour it was super helpful!
I'm with your husband on the airport view. I always request east looking for that very reason. Plus I've seen some spectacular sunrises over the mountains. Never can sleep late due to 2 hour time change.
Enjoyed your review. I was in Vegas the week after Easter. Stayed at The Venetian and had a Prestige Suite! Wonderful experience as always! Love the ambiance of Paris! May have to give it a try next year!
Just booked Paris for the first time ...going with my gf next month for my birthday. Thank you so much. Really enjoyed it and now we're super exciting 😊
Thank you for the informative video. Whenever we visit family in Vegas, we ALWAYS go to Mon Ami Gabi and sit outside on their patio. Besides the excellent food & service, and the Bellagio fountain views, it also is a great place to people watch while you eat. We are staying at Paris in a few days (our first time staying there) and have a Burgundy King Room with an Eiffel Tower view, so I appreciated your room tour. I did reserve a Luxe Daybed for our pool day as a surprise for my wife. Question: how did the check-in process go?? I have heard about long lines at on Strip properties. We have always stayed off Strip at the M Resort, so this will be a first. Thank you again for the video.
Check-in really depends when you arrive. It's going to be the most busy between 3-5 pm and on thurs/fri/saturdays. We checked in at about 7:45 and we waited 15 minutes in line. You're going to have a blast!
@@alysmalls Thank you! We don’t land until around 5pm on a Sunday, so hoping it’s all good. We have 6:45pm reservations at Mon Ami Gabi. Figured we would try eating inside there once. :-)
Ally, thanks for sharing , I am planning a trip shortly to Vegas. You provided a wealth of information I will use especially those foods spots to save on meals .
18 days until Vegas! (But not like I'm counting or anything..) Staying at Mandalay Bay and yep because of the pool experience. But next time Paris does look like a great hotel & love that it's located center strip. Those omelets at Alexxa's looked huge! Definitely will have to eat there. Beer Park is on my go to list also. Great video Aly!
Great video! My stepsister’s favorite hotel in Vegas, so I had to check this video out. I forwarded it to her and her hubby. We’ll done! Makes me want to go back with my husband and son and stay there for that pool! The Eiffel Tower restaurant looks amazing!
I agree the views are beautiful at the Eiffel tower restaurant or Ami Gabi. If you’re going for French food save your money and go to the Aria Bardot Brassiere is leaps and bounds more flavorful. You won’t have the views, but the food is so delicious. (The appetizer shrimp or oysters can’t go wrong, but if you’re gonna splurge for one the shrimp were unforgettable. Entrée quiche was delicious the almond brittle French toast is out of this world delicious. I didn’t even use the syrup or butter and just removed the almond brittle piece.) Save your money and don’t go to Gordon Ramsay‘s at the Paris hotel, and don’t bother with the sticky toffee pudding! I say this from the fact that my husband is from England. The display is gorgeous but the flavor should be there and it’s not! For a good steak place go to Wolfgang pucks “CUT” at the Venetian.(in the mall area) or go to Oscars. (Try the rib cap is excellent here. Also for an appetizer try the meatballs! I would go back again just for the appetizer of meatballs.) Thank you
Looks like a cool hotel, but I'll stick with my free parking and zero resort fees at an MGM property. I was pleasantly surprised that even the Dingo's liked The Vanderpump Restaurant. One cool thing about the pool is it being beneath the Eiffel Tower 🗼
Hi Aly, thank you for your video, its really help me creating itinerary for our family holiday trip to California. I'm form Jakarta - Indonesia, please advice, as we know, hotel in US , Double Bed room can fit for max until 4 person, right? i'm family with 2 kids, why when we book hotel in Las Vegas, for the same room, the price will double if we fill 2 adult + 2 kids, compare with 2 adults only? Its is oke if we book 2 double bed, and put only 2 adult as visitor, but the real person who stay are 4 persons.really appreciate your kind feedback❤
What other hotel has a pool that is not a party pool? When I go to the pool I want to have a relaxing time not loud music. Also what are some pools that are open later?
Very insightful video but we’re not going out to Vegas anytime soon due to all kind of idiots fee for suckers resort fee parking fees ridiculous We already pay for gas to drive out there and pay for the room fee why pay for additional fees
Hey Ricky, I've got about 25 posts on my travel blog all about Las Vegas: likewhereyouregoing.com/tag/las-vegas/ - I've got a few itineraries on there, tips for first timers, "can't miss attractions" and unique things to do
Strip views are overrated. Once you've seen it, you've seen it. I much prefer a view of the mountains. More tranquil before or after a busy day on the Strip or in the casino, restaurant, etc. But certainly do the Strip view once, especially at Paris, which is across from the Bellagio fountains. As for resort fees, Caesars properties will wave them if you have Diamond status on their player's card. If you don't qualify because of gaming activity, you can get Diamond status by getting the Founders credit card. I don't know the yearly fee, but if you stay in Vegas several days, you're probably ahead of the game plus will get to enjoy the other perks. At MGM properties their Gold card status will also entitle you to waived resort fees. And both companies will tier match with the other, so if you have Gold with MGM, Caesars will tier match you to Diamond (although you might not get all the perks, such as the celebration dinner at Caesars).
I am traveling out from the UK with my family in a couple of weeks time to stay at the Paris. Can anyone advise if the pool gets much sunshine as most of the pictures I see the pool is in shade.
Hey Aly, we've booked 4 nights in Paris suite for next year on return from Hawaii, wondering if you'd rate this hotel as better than New York, New York? Which is where we stayed last time in Vegas.
I like the rooms better in Paris, because the rooms in NYNY are very dated (however, they're going to be renovated soon). But other than that, I like both hotels equally. Although NYNY has better options for cheaper food onsite. They're my 2 favorite themed hotels for sure.
@@alysmalls Yeah we enjoyed the food options in NYNY for sure but also found the rooms a bit dated on our stay. Looking forward to seeing how Paris fairs next year.
Yes it's worked a few times for me. I think it was because we were staying 5 nights, and that overlapped with the BTS concert in town. It's worked best when I'm staying max 2 nights
Gordon Ramsay steakhouse is a crap....we , 6 people, made the experience for dinner a few years ago....from the no-welcome by nasty and arrogant employees outside the restaurant supposed to "greet customers" to the full dinner experience was zero...food was terrible, service was the same than a Mc Donalds server! Ramsay was severe with restaurants he visited while doing a TV show but accepting his staff in high steakhouse restaurants charging high prices to be "fucked up"??? One of my vegeterian friend paid ove $100 for three sides of veggies!!!!
@@alysmalls The room was , small and ugly. When you book one on line they show you a different 😂 room then the one you get. After, spending over a grand for the trip and hotel package, I had to spend an additional $75 a day for resort fees. The only thing I can say good about Paris is there buffet was really good for the money.
