I was thinking the same thing. I have watched her journey and the Cali videos (I stopped watching, it just didn'tfeel right for me)- something is missing. I don't know if she'll see this, but Tiffanie, I don't know what you are doing in LA, but your spirit belongs in Paris. I can see it in your eyes. Your soul shines when you are there. Tiffanie you are DEFINITELY getting an appartment there - it's clear! Those feelings you're having are FOR REALLY!!! You definitely hit on something when you said that on this trip, you're a different and more grounded person. You were finding yourself when you were there those last few years and questioning what, maybe, you really wanted. Now that you are back in the states, you were able to find the kind of work you wanted and you were able to get through those bumps of adulting. Now that you feel more confident, you don't have to prove anything to NOBODY, you feel that Paris is YOUR PLACE now. Maybe you're realizing that you don't have to live in the states 12 months a year. You just need a little taste and then OFF TO PARIS to live for the other six. Maybe you could start looking into real estate - maybe becoming a seller for expats or something...lol..I dunno. I just know that I LOVE Paris TO DEATH...lol. I'm originaly from Chicago but I live in Quebec City in Canada. My sister and I are trying to plan a trip to Paris this year...probably in July and can't EVEN wait. I've been there other times but it's been waaaaaaay too long. Even I know that I have to think about mabye figuring out a way to get an appartment , you know..lol..WE GOTTA DREAM REAL BIG GIRL!!! This was a wonderful video Tiffanie.🙂. Can't wait for more of your videos. I missed you while you were away!

We are alike . Lives in north of Paris ( moved from Toronto for a frenchie ). I’m now back to Toronto to make it my homebase and work opportunity but france is my second place . I come very often … for now it makes sense until I make it 100 percent homebase !

Looks like a great trip catching up with friends. It's so lovely to have connections in different parts of the world to have some familiar faces in a foreign place/country. Paris wasn't on my short list of places to visit based on the experience other Browns / blacks have shared. Maybe one day I'll give it a chance and take a trip there.

Yes I’m so grateful to have friends around the world! There’s actually a pretty substantial black population in Paris. In social settings I’ve been okay for the most part, it’s pretty diverse in my opinion but we all of course have different experiences - I’ve totally heard not so great things as well.

I went to Gumbo Yaya because of you! The food was good, exactly what I was missing. I also went to a few hair stores that you recommended on one of your vlogs. Thanks to you, I explored more of Paris than I did in the past. Now I know where to go for certain things.❤ (Living in Switzerland, you can't find the products you need, and my next trip back home wasn't for another 8 months so I went to Paris 😅...it was either Paris or London).

Never got more than a 3 day travel pass in Paris, but was always intrigued by why i had to write my name on it lol...do they have something like a oyster that you just tap? Never really found out but those little tickets would annoy me as the day would never end without it getting stuck or chewed up in some way 😅

I don't know if you remember me but, I've been your subscriber for a while. I'm still wanting to go to Paris. You sent me something that would help me prepare for my move. I didn't have any money at the time. But I've grown in a better position. I graduated from massage therapy school. I've been working for a clinic. I want to get my cosmetology license and esthetician license. Here's thing. I'm almost out financial aid to do school here in Chicago. Actually all the programs in Paris, France is very affordable and with a job, I can pay out of pocket. Even finishing my bachelor's degree out in UK would be better. I definitely really want to go. I got accomodations figured out for at least a year. Finding work out there is now my scare. Also the type of work I'm looking for, I'm worried not speaking English is going to be a problem. I would want to work as a massage therapist out there. My other skills are phlebotomy and customer service. Just my associates in media. I do want my own business but, just starting off, getting settled in there what advice can you give me? Should I stay where I am for the rest of the year and take up some French and planned for my move 2025? Is there a agency I can go through that can assist me with looking for work? Would it make since to save money for 6 months and then get move there, then maybe I'll stand a chance of going through local services once moved? What are your thoughts? Who did you bank with there? Is there a bank I can start banking with without being a resident there in advance?
