George, you have to try the water from a public fountain. The people of France spent a fortune on their infrastructure to make it as clean as possible. It helps reduce plastic.
Hi George. I am happy for you in Paris with your mother to enjoy the culinary delights and the wonderful monuments. May you have a great stay in Paris.
Welcome to Paris, I hope you'll enjoy it. I'm not sure if you're still around here but I could recommend that you go to Rue Mouffetard, it's a beautiful street filled with different restaurants and bars and not many tourists know about it, there's a restaurant there called Le vieux bistrot if you're into French authentic food.
Paris has such beautiful places and even if some places seem simple the architecture and delicacy of things make them chic. The sweets look like toys like a dollhouse. Very beautiful! 🇫🇷💕 By the way, when your mother commented about Paris being an adult city I remembered Shibuya. Here in Brazil Shibuya is known as the city of the young. Which by the way is one of the places I hope to visit someday. Great video George!
I'm a fan of the writer Georges Simenon, I read almost all of his works in my adolescence. I practically “knew” Paris by reading the stories of the iconic Commissioner Maigret. Simenon is so good with words that he managed to transport me to ancient Paris, I could feel the atmosphere of places, the smell of the brasseries, the taste of the food… even to the scent of the Commissioner’s pipe. When I was able to fulfill my dream, the city was a little different but in many ways it didn't disappoint. I loved Paris ❤
One of the things I want most is to visit the Louvre Museum, because I consider it an opportunity to discover for myself the process of art development in different cultures and civilizations. I really enjoyed the video, thank you very much 🤗🐣
誕生日おめでとう🎉Thanks for sharing all that French beauty with your subscribers. You checked off most of what I wanted to see and eat when I studied France in high school except for Basilica Sacre Couer and Monet’s garden which is not in Paris I think. And drinking chocolate since your guide in Barcelona reminded me that’s a thing to compare to hot chocolate in the States.
Thank you George and Mom for sharing these beautiful moments 😊. Paris is so beautiful with the sunshine ☀️ and blue sky. Confit and steak tartare are 2 of the typical French bistro specialties. Enjoy your stay! Au revoir et à bientôt!!!!
Bonsour! I am glad the weather looks better today in Paris! You and the your mom seem to be enjoying the beautiful Paris, its food... BTW, your mom is always super elegante and charming! 🌷🌷
Love Paris! Glad you & your mom are enjoying the food & sights! I tried for the 1st time in Paris was the hot chocolate. It was like drinking a brownie. It was so rich and decadent. It is a must try & experience.
Those croissants looked really good! Thanks for the video, that looked like an awesome day - and congratulations on becoming a meme!! 😂😂😂 (I remember that video) Your mom must be loving this trip though, you guys are going to really great places together.
5:51 I love your French accent George 😂 French food are amazing !! 🤤🤤🤤 Thanks for the video, greetings from Belgium. PS: in some videos you say "Let's go" in different language like "Vamos or Yalla", in French "let's go" is "Allons-y" or "On y va" ^^.
Hi George! Nice to see you in Paris, beautiful city! If you're still in France, don't miss the Provence region. The best food in the world! Wonderful places, excellent wines, funny people, I intend to return one day soon 😊 (I even learned to play boules) 😅
Oh, The Louvre! I know a lot of people don't care so much about museums, but the Louvre might be the exception, what a dream (but they could give back to the owners part of the collection too, it's a heated discussion among the scientific community)
Hey George I hope you're enjoying your trip! Can you make a video describing your impression about Morocco Spain and France what did you find similar in these contries and the differences between them since they're close to each other
Les Deux Magots 3:37 (“magot” refers to a a seated Japanese or Chinese carved figurine) is a famous café and restaurant where the intellectuals and literati of Paris used to hang out. (The other famed café like that is Café de Flore.) It’s a bit of a tourist attraction these days. The _e_ in the word _tartare_ is silent so the word is pronounced like _Jar Jar_ 😟. One theory about why the steak is named that is that the Tartars, a group of people from Mongolia (who merged with the Mongols-Genghis Khan and all that), placed meat under their horse saddles, pulverizing it, and then ate it raw-or, at least, the French in the 19th century thought they did. The web site of _Au Pied de Fouet_ has this line _En somme, les établissements du Pied de Fouet, c’est comme à la maison, mais sans les inconvénients_ (“In total, the establishments of _Pied de Fouet_ are like home, but without the disadvantages”). I love that! It’s kind of throwing shade on home cooking. And quite a few people say that the _Mona Lisa_ is a bit of a letdown. (I saw it decades ago and, it was, um, okay.) If I were to go to Paris these days, I would definitely skip it. But I’m kind of an idiosyncratic traveler. The only time I was in Paris, I _didn’t_ go to the Eiffel Tower-I went instead to La Samaritaine, the famed department store, which, at that time, had a rooftop café (not anymore these days), and enjoyed some iced tea while looking _at_ the Eiffel Tower, _la tour Eiffel sans foule,_ so to speak.
