True that. It may be a type of reverse phycology sent there on purpose a well made bag then selling the not so great bags to everyone else. I could be wrong
A big issue with the free bag for review is what is to stop them for using better materials for the review unit(s) and send the junk on the consumer end.
That's a good point, but I do think a free product would allow for more variety. A good idea might be to review both the free product and buy one. That way, we also get a review of the brand rather than just the single bag.
That assumes their products lacks consistency and they just chose the best quality bag they could find. Products like these are more or less mass produced and are consistent to a certain degree.
@@CBrasil1966 it leads to deceptive marketing (I'm not saying they do it) but I know for a fact that it happens all the time in tech, with ram specifically the first batches are high quality meeting specifications than maybe even as soon as 6 months later they diminish in quality even as low as 80% of the performance capabilities of the original launch units.
Have people in the comments never heard of companies sending samples for review to content creators? It happens all the time. He gave an honest review. I am glad to see that you started getting some sponsorships as well. Well done 🎉
You know.. it is nice of him to actually drop the tea and says outright that it was sent to him rather than lying that he bought or other ways he get it..
Really appreciate your reviews. I want to get a few really good quality leather bags that'll last me years and years but didn't know what prices are reasonable and which brands are good quality.
Now would you consider deconstructing the one they send you AND an identical one you purchase in their store and do a side by side comparison- just so we know theY’re using the same craftsmanship and quality? Thank you for all your work!!
I think the store should rather give you a coupon so you can pick up the bag yourself. We're relying on you for impartial reviews. Please don't accept these kinds of bags being sent to you. Get the bag yourself in an authorised retail store and the brand gives you a discount.
There is no way a Chanel new bag will sell for 80 dollars, right? They even showed me the authentication inside. I was like oh no thanks, something is fishy.
Problem with sponsored videos is u never know how homsten a review you are u gonna get. But that leather to me seems like cheap shit leather and as someone who works alot with leather well take my opinion with a grain or salt as you should with anyone but out of intrest what kinda grain leather is that ?
He did say it was a typical pebble grain leather. Never said that it was top notch leather. He just wasn’t rude about it. To me him saying its comparable to the higher priced leathers used by luxury companies speaks volumes tho! Which is something a lot of us are already aware of.
This is sus that not everyone sends you their products. I'm totally not in leather space, but for tech youtubers is preety common to get a lot off new stuff to review, if Someone is not sending new GPU to Linus tech tips is preety sus.
Is this an individually made bag? Or a mass produced bag? The latter should fine for a review for a more consistent bag experience. But the former might dupe you with a HQ experience while giving the other consumers the crap stuff
sponsored or gifted? sponsored means you were paid to review this product, meaning your review is biased. gifted means they sent it to you for free but did not also pay you
Not really… to be honest it didn’t seem any different than his other reviews. Especially since the price point of the bag is quite low compared to cost of leather and labour once you account for profit and other business costs. He said the same for fossil for example. Compared to say brands like Chanel or LV or many others
I would echo some comments and stay away from sponsored material. You can lose credibility as what is stopping them from sending you a showroom piece vs a consumer product? Or trusting your review when someone’s money is backing it. I totally understand the need for revenue and maximizing those opportunities, but sponsored reviews could hurt your credibility. Potentially.
