Amazing Ullswater: Our Easter break is saved when we manage to get into Parkfoot Holiday Park, in the beautiful English Lake District after a rally we were going to attend was cancelled.
While we are there, we take a wander into Pooley Bridge and have drinks and breakfast at the Crown Inn, we look at the new bridge which replaced the previous one which was washed away by Storm Desmond in 2015. David takes the ’Steamer’ down the lake to Glenridding and back and we check out TJs at Park Foot take away and the restaurant.
