Good morning Paul can’t go wrong with arko soap. I’ve got several injectors in my collection but never got a great shave with any of them. Beautiful flowers by MrsH enjoy your day my friends all the best

I do the same with a Nivea stick slice in a mug and a bit of their sensitive shave foam. Excellent super lather with a more powerful scent that I love. Great shave!

Love that polo shirt Like to see more of them. I had a Gillette injector once. I truly loved it but then they stopped selling them. The story of my life 😢😢😂. Good times to remember. Beautiful video and flowers. Keep on keeping on

Great shave paul.... .. TIGER 🐯 i worked in tesco for a while and the baker told me the "tiger". Is achieved by brushing sesame oil on the bread before you bake it👍👍

This morning, I had a rather quick two pass shave. Used the Lord L6 with a Polsilver blade, a Highlander walnut/cashmere knot brush and the very good Wilkinson Sword shave stick. Finished with a local Serbian supermarket aftershave lotion, Green Eliot. Very reminiscent to a Palmolive smell. And of to work...

In the States we call those flattened peaches, "Donut Peaches" or "Saturn Peaches". They are one of my favorite stone fruits!!!

Great shave. I enjoy the basics as well. Arko is a great soap, especially considering how cheap it is. My arko puck lives in an old spice mug all the time. My sotd was my parker 96r with a derby blade. And proraso green soap and splash. Finished with nivea balm. Very nice shave. Prorase imo is another soap you cant go wrong with. You and mrs h have a good week

The first brush I ever bought was a Parker identicle to that one. I still have it and its more than a few years old. Its never lost a hair that I know of and has always been as soft as some other badgers I own that are supposed to be softer. Another great vid.

Paul, greetings from Texas! Lovely roses from Mrs H. Relative to knot sizes, I believe that the size is measured to the hole in the handle at the base of the brush. I could certainly be wrong though.

Just ordered myself a Muhle R41 head. My R89 is good, but takes 4 passes plus a touch up to get really good results. Hoping the R41 will get the job done with less passes (and less irritation).

SOTD was Caswell/Massey Newport shave cream, Henson Al13, lavender WH, Newport AS, and Nivea balm. Very satisfying scent, Newport!😊

Mrs. H's roses are absolutely gorgeous. Simple shaves can be the best shaves. Some of my favorite shaving creams are the inexpensive ones. When it comes to brush sizes, I thought the numbers measured the width where the knot entered the handle. From the side-by-side comparison you showed, it looked to me that the brush you used was slightly narrower?

Why did you add the canned shaving cream? I'd like to see either one alone & I know you have used the arko soap flakes, but I don't remember the canned shaving cream. In the the US, we have Barbasol readily available, but I'm curious how the Arko canned cream would work alone. Maybe for your next garden shave?? ;)

Hi Paul, My question to you being a long time experienced wet shaver - Do you get a closer shave with a certain blade razor combination or is the blade the determining factor for any razor you use? Thanks for your consideration and response. Hank
