Parker please enjoy your time with grandma, you'll treasure those times for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, both sets of my grandparents were gone before I was eight years old and they were sickly before that so I don't have a whole lot of memories of them.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Karen, with NOT using a wooden board to cut raw meat on! Both recipes look delicious, as usual!

This will definitely be on one of my weekend recipes to do on my Blackstone griddle, I like the idea where it's simple and easy to do.

Good morning Karen. It’s 5:25 and I just finished getting ready for work and fixing Gordon’s breakfast. This sounds delicious. I have never put pickles in my coleslaw but the next time I make it I will make a small bowl with pickles. I love trying new things. I’m with you on the cutting boards. That looks delicious ! Bright and fresh. I’m sure it tastes great. I might put a little of my slaw on the sandwich too. I like sweet relish. I make sweet hot pickles that would be good on this too. I'm new at cooking, I am 66 years old but never really cooked. My mother didn't cook unless it came in a can. Now that I'm retired I want to learn to cook. I made your steak sandwiches They turned out great. I couldn't believe it turned out, I actually made it. Although, my husband doesn't like peppers (gasp!) He picked some peppers off but he ate it. Thanks for sharing. If I buy your cookbook can you sign it for me?

Hi Karen, those sammies look great. I love cube steak and will try this. I am salt sensitive so I have to be careful with soy and the w sauce.. but I am gonna try this way to eat it. Also, haven't tried the Marzetti cole slaw dressing as I have always made my own; but now hubby is trying to pick up the cooking as I can no longer do it, so he will like this dressing. So much love to you and your family from a Carolina girl.

These looked really good & a quick meal to put together...do you ever put shredded carrots in your slaw? We don't put relish or pickles in ours...its neat to see how everyone fixes the same dish ...Im going to look for that slaw dressing... Good to see Parker & I always love your tops!
